I agree with you to some extent, however external factors can affect one's confidence. There is a reason why Nigeria is the bleaching capital of the world. Girls are literally dying to be seen as beautiful by men and society. So, shouldn't society start the corrective promotion of dark skin? There is a health ticking time bomb waiting for these girls who are bleaching their skin and that will affect society as a collective.
