VO won't know if you register or not and your registration has no effect on your study permit. IRCC and Schools are different bodies.

This is unusual time with AIP, I will like to believe that VO will not request for prove of enrolment before final study permit approval after initially granting AIP so that you can enrol for the fall term

Search for 'Java Runtime Environment' on Google, download and instal then try filling the form again.

Thank you so much @ Engager69, I have done as you suggested but it's still not working. It's really frustrating. Had to download Adobe reader X as suggested on the CIC help page, yet nothing. I clicked to check the properties of this form and the attached is what I saw. It is obvious that the isn't allowing the filling of the form.

I tired, please is there anything else I can try?

I think you should use another laptop.. it’s like the laptop or the windows running on the laptop those not have a JavaScript installed. Get a friends laptop install the adobe reader DC and try again. I can assure you adobe reader DC can open anything, it can even be used to edit scanned documents and also you can stil use it to resize your pdf files to a small size. this feature you would need soon when you trying to submit your online application Cos it has to be less than 4mb. get another laptop and install it on it and give it a try again.

If you can take a loan for his education that can cover three years of his undergrad in Canada , this would be the best option so far.

Second option- if you have any property of high value that you can let go and would really help him out, then do it.

Last option- not the friendly one.. steer away from Canada at least for his undergrad, then make plans for his future. Doesn’t have to be study route eventually.
Martinomi:

Well, my mum was in this situation 6 years ago. Not enough funds to sponsor me to come to Canada for undergrad (u-Manitoba). I swore that I was going to hustle and support myself If she let me come here but I just turned 16 too almost the same age as your boy.
Considering the finances and the fact that she didn’t want wahala. She sent me to Ukraine to study computer science(what I wanted but not where I wanted). She sponsored me through out my studies without any problems, I had a comfortable life but wasn’t where I wanted.

This story long small but my own 2cents. ✌️

I like the fact that you said “I will like to believe....”. It is good to have faith but you have to be logical as well. All the best.

Hello all......
Please I need your candid advice. I just read through the information on the thread. I applied for study permit and in the documents I submitted, I only attached an attestation letter from a research laboratory even though I don't work there claiming I earn certain amount of money and I will be granted a study leave for a year(letter headed)
. I didn't attach any payment slip or bank statements,is there any treats

There is nothing from IRCC that says that POF will. E rechecked but they said you should ensure that you stay eligible (saw that somewhere)

There's usually a line that shows your current balance when bank respond to inquiry from embassy

A line that shows your current balance? That's the bank giving out your details without your consent.. Is this applicable to all banks?

Someone shared a story once that he got a copy of the response mail from his bank to the embassy, although the statement was same dates as what he submitted, but his current balance was also stated.

He was worried cos he already withdrew to purchase forex, all the same he got the visa.

That's all I know about this matter...lol
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by Pee2Jay9: 8:12am On Aug 12, 2020
Hmm.. That's scary o.. I asked my bank specifically about this, both verbally and by email, and they confirmed that the embassy will never get to know current balance.. Moreover,
I sent MyBank ticket so they shouldn't even contact my bank sef.. But I intend to send updated bank statement via web form in case, after which I'll move the funds to profit making ventures biko.. I shouldn't tie money down because of CIC

Good morning house
please help a brother. I applied for Global business management fall 2020 and my study permit is still under processing since May 27. But due to current pandemic so I'm forced to defer my admission because no AIP yet. So my concern now is I deferred my admission to winter 2021 but to my surprise I was given Project Management as the new course within an hour with new LOA and Tuition recipit payment. So I have to defer my admission again because the Project Management does not align with my previous course of study and uptill now I've not gotten any response from them. Hope I have not done something wrong because I can't afford to loose my tuition fee

Do you know of any student loans from Nigerian institutions for international education or any other international student loans that are available to Nigerians?

Check out the link below

Answer the questions that relates to you and you will see the available loans. This is mainly for US and Canadian schools.

Wats your question bro

Please I submitted my study permit application before the school opened for registration and tuition payment. Then I deposited part of my tuition (though I didn't use my sponsors account for the transaction) about $1500 . My question is can I raise a webform sharing my transaction receipt for it to enhance my Visa application approval or will this info be gotten from the school once contacted

If you paid your tuition deposit, the school is meant to issue you a receipt to that effect. Thats what you will send to IRCC via webform. Also you can't tell exactly what will enhance your chances of an approval which is why we rely on submitting all necessary documents to show our eligibility to offered a visa and most importantly trust in God.

Are they currently in school if they have already started classes ,they can't defer the admission cos they have registered for classes. If they are not in school, you can defer your admission as long as you deferred on time before school resumption.

Theres no way the school will change your course without notifying you unless they did but you didnt see it. Again, was Project management the second choice you chose. Finally, they changed your course cos probaly Global business management department is filled up before you applied for deferment.

The one in USA said he left school after first year and worked all most a year, before he went back.

But is it possible to defer and work after I get to Canada.. some agents told me this before these guys. I still wasn't sure that's why I decided to ask.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by Tracy2020: 10:55am On Aug 12, 2020
Hello everyone, Please I have some questions to ask.

1. My school is still saying you must not start online classes without a study permit, even after I’ve explained that IRCC is only issuing AIP to Visa applicants for now. They gave me till September 20 to see if I’ll get the study permit, else I should defer. Do you advice I defer now or just wait till September to see if anything changes.

2. If you defer your admission to January after receiving AIP, would it affect your study permit approval? Maybe purpose of visit or something.

3. Since you would have a new LOA and some changes would be made to ur application. Would VO’s request for a new bank statement or anything.

I am only waiting for biometrics. I’ve gotten medical request, passed and gotten AIP. Please what’s your advice for me.

Those agents are lying to you dear.. Immigration will cancel your study permit as you have violated the term of your study permit. I currently know two pple in court with cic on this scenario. Some pple will get away with it though, but when its time to apply for PR and they do their background checks, it will fail. Check you mail

Dear All, Good morning and trust you had a restful night. I have applied to the University of New Brunswick for MBA and and indicated Jan 2021 semester so awaiting their decision. But i would like to ask for those that got an admit for Masters or MBA in UNB. How long was the waiting time before you got admission decision because i am seeing something on their FAQ " that processing time can take up to 6 months" reading that was scary because i don't even have up to two months if i have to apply for VISA against Jan 2021.

2) I noticed i am not able to see updated status of my application. One of my referees has filled the referee form online and submitted but i did not get a prompt.

Please my Gurus and ogas in the house and those familiar with University of New Brunswick, help throw more light on this?

Project Management was not even among the courses I chose. My three initial courses were Global supply Chain management, Global business management and Human resources management. I don't have an idea of where project management came from and beside hope I won't have issues with the way I withdraw and defer my admission again?

Not familiar with University of New Brunswick

but I know that admission for masters takes 5-6months with no guarantees of getting admission. So its a 50/50 situation. I know a friend that applied to Brondon university and after 6months, he got the "unfortunately you didnt meet the course admission requirements.

You need to send a mail to the admission office to inquire why as it doesnt align or relate with your bsc or experience.

Please help (anyone with a good understanding of this kind of situation)

,
Aderin0la:
Please, can a Godfather be a co sponsor? My biological mother is my main sponsor and she has the complete tuition and living expense for a year already (about 8m), plus a few extra millions (approx 3m+)... God father has an account of over 20m, but he is not related to me by blood. My biological father is late also. Is this possible? What kind of proof can I use to show that he’s really my God father? Or has anyone here been in this situation before?

Also if my mother decides to be the only sponsor, can she list one (worth above 5m) of her 3 buildings as a property that she intends to sell to support my second year? What proof can we present to show that the property has really been placed on the market? Or will a letter from a lawyer do?

PS: I’m 21, have a bachelors degree in Cell Biology and Genetics (just completed Nysc) and I’m going for a Masters in Medical Biotechnology (2 year program).

Please help!
