The Borno Governor (or his spin doctor) said Baga produces "45% of Nigeria's dried fish consumed".
It stands to reason that BH are also involved in agribusiness to finance their activities.
To claim they are "scavenging" is disingenuous at best or hopelessly misinformed at worst.
Gen. Buhari is now claiming that the security agencies now need to "synergize" their intel capabilities. It begs the question what have they been doing this last 5 yrs.
Thousands of lives lost and tens of thousands more displaced and our hopes lie in a team that couldn't organise a piss-up in a brewery.
I find it more useful to listen to what the president of Chad has to say on the matter, not anything from Aso Rock

Buhari is their patron. Everyone can do internet search to see he was once appointed by Boko Haram to represent them at a dialogue at the time of Jonathan's regime.

Now he's saying they need food - appeal to pity, a terribly bad and insensitive argument.

Now let's ask Buhari what the victims of Boko Haram and their relatives need. Is he really concerned about those poor people in his heart and activities?

Boko Haram need food but Nnamdi Kanu and his rights group are terrorists that must be destroyed. Why didn't the international community declare them terrorists as Boko Haram when Buhari asked them to?
