President Muhammadu Buhari will tomorrow, commission the NCDMB’s 17-storey Nigerian Content Tower, 1000-seater ultra-modern Conference Hall, 4-level Car Park and 10 megawatts gas-fired Power Plant, located at Swali, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.

I heard this edifice was designed and built by an indigenous Nigerian firm, which is impressive at 17 storeys.

I believe it is the tallest structure ever built by a Nigerian construction firm.

The days of calling on China, Germany, Japan and co to build these things for us are drawing to a close.

Of course the building looks beautiful,but for the fact we lack maintenance culture,in 10yrs time,this building will look depleted

For those like me who don't know the meaning, it is:

Nigerian Content Development & Monitoring Board

Nice edifice. I'm glad to see development spreading around.

But come oh... the money used for this building... could have been better invested in SME. Not to mention that the building materials are likely not "Nigerian content".

If they are not doing, we will complain. When they do we sha still complain about how they did it.
