A big circle is inscribed in a 1unit square, if four small circles were fit into the vertices of the square such that it torches the big circle and two sides of the square.
Find the sum of the radius of the big and small circles



Sum is about 0.9 units?

Dont mind me I thought you said we should post and and we will solve it. I dont think I can post any picture again.pls let us move on. Not everybody can solve this kind of problem. I can only produce the diagram but the solution I can't do that. I think only people who studied mathematics can decipher the question.

There was no 6 in my soln.
Big radius was 0.5
Small radius was 0.1 *4= 0.4
Sum =0.5+.4= 0.9

be it a isosceles trapezium which have 1 line of symmetry and a Norma trapezium which have no line of symmetry you can't add any to infinity. Since a circle have infinite number of line of symmetry
