I noticed that companies ion Nigeria only register their companies names with '& Sons Ltd'.

Why companies dont register with 'Daughters Ltd' instead? Is it not allowed?

The daughters will get married and take the husbands surname

But the Sons will keep the family name going, from generation to generation

It’s common knowledge!

not common. Ladies are likely to consistute over 100million of our 200million population. Of that least 100million, 60% of them are the ladies are found in northern Nigeria, where Islam binds you to adopt your husband's last name only. So you see men in such climes will want to pass the property on to their sons who will retain their names. Even in the south where traditionalists and Christians abound, majority of the women still adopt their husbands last name as their sole last name. So what you stated is not a norm, yet.
