I've never seen our president giving a speech offhand. He must always read something.. why??

What made me personally disappointed was during the xenophobia period when he went to SA. Sa's president was addressing the press offhand but our President was reading from a paper like wtf!!

WHY MUST HE ALWAYS READ A WRITTEN SPEECH??

Also the last xenophobia attack in South Africa you have to understand the issue Nigeria was totally to blame. If you look at it all the southern African countries pointed fingers at Nigeria that they were the ones which caused the incident leading to the xenophobia attack so what do you want him to do.
