Im not comfortable with this figure hence the federal govt should implement a total lockdown for Eight weeks to enable us record a zero case and death.

America, Britain, China, France, Spain, Germany and many other countries still enforce a Total lockdown.

Nigeria cant be an exception. Only a tough measure can help us win this fight.

I appeal to Nigerians to sacrifice this Eight weeks lockdown, stock their homes, remain indoors to avoid any spread.

God will see us through.

From my analysis of this data, by percentage.

Active cases is approximately 24%
Recovered Rate is 74.4%
Death rate is 1.9%

With this available data, I believe the curve hasn't just been flattened, the virus has been technically defeated. I don't see any reason why FG should continue locking universities at this juncture. I'm sure they're just waiting for the US and UK to open, while neglecting the fact that the virus is not causing havoc here as it is over there.

I just registered to tell you that the God will punish you for being very wicked and inhumane for suggesting that the country should be thrown into chaos simply because you have a backup plan. You are a wicked man. A very wicked man. How do you want people to survive?? I go to work everyday so I can feed my family, how do you want people like me to survive? Is it because you have a backup plan? You are very wicked
God bless you for your wonderful post. We are all entitled to our own opinion. If my comment pain you, just take a chilled drink. You cant tell me what to comment just as i cant tell you what to comment.

Ordinarily i dont respond to comments but let me advice you, if my comment pain you just pass it and move on. Your curse or wishes has been returned back to the sender.

The kind of lockdown that "may" likely help us record zero cases as you suggested will actually cause more death because people will die by hunger and lack of prompt access to medical support! We can get through this even with schools reopening and adherence to safety measures
I agree with you. I think my opinion isnt the best. We are all here to learn.

Thanks for your mention.

for those of us who know you well no longer take your comments serious anymore infact you are getting more boring by the day with this your lockdown suggestion. when the new cases and discharge rate are almost equal you are calling for a lockdown, even if by miracle FG declares it, nobody will obey it trust me people are already living their normal lives.

Are you sure you're okay? Firstly this country u mentioned ain't all on total lockdown anymore. Even if dy are dy've got a steady economy... The ripple effect of our initial lockdown sef our economy can't recover again till this time nxt yr at best.
