This will sound appealing to all Churchgoers, it simply means the Born Again can be found in all the religions claiming Christian.
Please tell all those arguing about doctrines to forget about their differences and concentrate on their Born Again stuff!

Factually, what you should rather be concerned with is the former and not the latter.

To answer your question now, no, I am not born again, neither are you nor anyone else.

Thank you for quoting John 3, the genesis of this whole misunderstanding about what Jesus meant when He said, "You must be born again". Obviously, Nicodemus understood the literal implication of that statement but of course, he couldn't just understand how that is possible (verse 4).

Explaining further, Jesus made it clear that except one is born of water (baptism) and of the Spirit (receives or has the holy Spirit), such a person cannot enter the kingdom of God. But make no mistake, having the holy Spirit does not in anyway means that one is born again. One thing is to have the holy Spirit and another thing is to be born again by that same Spirit.

Jesus continued...

" That which is born of flesh (natural birth) is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit (e.g, angels in heaven) is spirit", verse 6. Take it at face value because that is just the truth of the matter.

Of course, Jesus not wanting confusion to ensued over what He just said, went even deeper to explain. He likens one who is born of the Spirit to the wind, verse 8.⁴ No one has seen the wind before neither can it be touched literally, just like God who is a Spirit. So therefore, anyone born of the Spirit is simply a spirit, period.

Paul said, "flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God" (1 Corinth 15:50). Oh yes! In the kingdom (government) of God, those in it are spirits, just like God.

So again, I am not born again, not even you. Or are you? Are you a spirit?

It matters whether a person is churchian or not.
Jesus Christ came to pull people out of the temple and the synagogues, not so they can now enter yet more houses that claim to be of God but have nothing to do with God's plan.
