Governor Sanwo-Olu has done his best for Lagos State, especially in managing the COVID-19 pandemic and putting some infrastructure in place in different parts of the state.
Reading the interview, I believe Governor Sanwo-Olu statement is right. As at today, Governor Akeredolu has a better chance than other candidates. A lot of things will work in his favour. Zoning, party structures, performance and unity among APC chieftains, among other things will work in favour of APC and Governor Akeredolu in the October 10 governorship election.
Election is about structure, PDP as at today is divided in Ondo, especially over the choice of Mr. Eyitayo Jegede's running mate and defection of the Deputy Governor to Zenith Labour Party (ZLP). ZLP does not have wide structure in Ondo State that the Deputy Governor can boast off at the moment.
Looking at politics of zoning in Nigeria, the people will vote massively for their sons and the three leading candidates, Akeredolu, Jegede and Agboola are from different senatorial districts. But base on calculation, Akeredolu will get a block votes from Ondo North and he will also get support from Ondo South and Ondo Central for the governor to complete his four years second term so that other zone can also enjoy two terms.

As I'm writing this piece, nothing is done since 4yrs instead he diverted his attention to oda roads as if residents of Ijoka are not part of ondo state. We have many stories like that every where
Sanwo olu tell Akeredolu to complete one project at a time instead of jumping from one project to another. We have many uncompleted roads project daunting the whole state. I could still recollect when I was in school my teacher used to tell me not to behave like a jack of all trades and master of none
I wish him resounding victory if he construct the IJOKA road

Soon, APC might be the only party. Even competitors wouldn't try to compete.

Akeredolu performed in his first term as testified by many Ondo indigenes on nairaland. So why are you now opposed to him. Allow him a second term, at least to complete the good work he has started.
