Edo state has no oil, but they get oil and gas investments that even the oil states don't have.

They enjoy the benefit of being south-south more than others.

Governance is everything.

This is why Edo state has the lowest unemployment in the country.

Investments that should be going to Delta is going there, and they will fill the place with Edo people.

Delta should be getting anything oil and gas but militants and cultists no let us see road.

The only thing oil and gas about delta is extraction.
Nigeria Gas Company has its headquarters in Delta State. No be all the facilities go enter Delta, No be only Delta they produce oil??

How many investment goes to delta?

Most of the youths are into militancy and cultism while the ones doing legal work are into okada.

No jobs in delta state. Okowa has even reduced the salaries of the civil service, for an oil state that should be wealthy.

Delta state is poorly poorly governed and it's affecting the people.

What oil does south east have to warrant this type of building?

All part of the country is largely underdeveloped.

Stop with this senseless post.

Your emotional manipulation won't work.

If the federal government does not build such projects in the North, it will be in Lagos or any other place but it will never be SE.

Useless good-for-nothing country. There is no single federal government agency or parastatel built anywhere in the SE but bastards will still claim there is no state sanctioned subjugation of the SE. Nigeria is such an evil country where they don't like saying the truth.
Igbo man, take am easy. The North or NNPC is not the cause of the problem of the East.

Project that has been ongoing since the time of Lucky Igbinedion. It is a federal government cash cow and a conduit pipe for corruption.

Edo state no get oil, yet they sited NPDC head quarters there. What happened to Rivers or Bayelsa. Bayelsa has history as the first oil producing state in Nigeria. Port Harcourt is Nigeria's oil capital. It's Unfair.
Is that not going to expose the institution to the boys in the creeks?

Besides, Edo obviously has oil.

can you compare federal government buildings in Edo state to other south south states like Delta? This is one of the few ones Edo state has.

Delta had over 3 refineries while Edo state has none

Lol, if you are in PH, visit NDDC office and see how youths besiege the office for one payment or the other everyday. One of the reason I left that area was the fear of being hit one day by stray bullet meant to scare such youth away because at times they had to use teargas disperse them. And they are always ready to fight back until their demand is met. So you can imagine the number of youths the govt will need to deal with on daily basis if NNPC head office is built in such area.

That is a Federal Government project. This project is more than 10 years old. It has been ongoing for nearly a decade while NPDC pays hundred of millions to Igbinedion as rent at their current location. Left to our corrupt civil servants, the project will never be completed, so that they can keep getting kickback from Igbinedion

Akwa Ibom started producing oil yesterday. Port Harcourt has hosted oil companies HQs decades ago wen Uyo was nothing but a village. Uyo is still a village compared to PH. And FYI, Akwa Ibom secializes in stealing oil Wells from Rivers, Cross Rivers and Abia.

You might need to check your facts again as Edo state is actually an oil producing state.

Foolish, local, poor education mentality.

Offices of an Oil and Gas company does not have to be in a region or state where oil is extracted.
