See as pocohantas makes cooking appear so easy but to people like me, cooking this soup will remain rocket science. 1 Like |

pocohantas:I still feel it is too hot on there, and boring. Maybe that's why my cooking skills are average. I did notice one thing though; when I like a particular food, I experiment and come up with very interesting and delicious results. 1 Like |

izzou:Whenever I see this my mind flies to ala nwayi Asaba. Remember that movie? She is a juju priestess with breasts reaching her knees (no joke). People doing ogwu ego had to suck the breasts as a prerequisite for getting the quick riches they sought. Hilarious movie. You see Emeka Enyiocha in action. Classic line: "You must suck it. Suck it!!" |

Ishilove: -Put AC/Fan -Cook with music. -Cook in the midnight. I adhere to all... most times So, which one have experimented recently? Because you have one usual reply on the food thread, I just know you won’t try it out. |

pocohantas:Truth? Na okro ooooo I learned on my own you can boil okro instead of frying. Prior to this my mom bluntly refused to boil hers because it is 'Yoruba style'. When I came home and cooked it, she wasn't impressed. She said it is 'okay'. |

Ishilove: The food. Sometimes you ask for recipe and when you are given, you have one funny response. It screams “Abeg, I no do again”. Ishilove: Boil? As in, only okro? I HATE it. |

pocohantas:Am I so readable? Wait na, before hating this is how I do it- Boil stock fish until soft, add palm oil into the stock and boil until the oil is mixed with water, then add pepper. Keep boiling. Then add the okro and other ingredients. The outcome tastes like fried okro. It's delicious. |
