Even me that I have legal money in Nigeria, if given the opportunity I will attempt to smuggle the money out of Nigeria as dollars. Imagine investing in a country where the naira is so unstable that it turning to useless paper. yes your definition is correct. but do you know that, when u decided to move money out of the jurisdiction of the law, it makes the money illegal? within the jurisdiction of the law is moving it using bank and declaring huge amounts

Can you tell me how I can move my money at CBN rate or close to through the banks if you're not Dangote? Nigerian economy systems is rigged to benefit only people like Dangote etc that are amassing our commonwealth. I bet you, if Dangote wants 10 million dollars forex today, he will get it. But what about small investors like me with our 2 naira. What are the options for us? That is why you never see any Mark Zuckerberg or Elon Musk spring up in Nigeria because all the agbalagbis and agbalagbas have connered everything.To be honest with you, my goal right now is to take out all my investment from Nigeria in Naira and count my losses. The law says that if you are travelling outside the country with over $10,000 cash, you must declare it... so questions can be asked about its source. If you don't, it's a punishable offence
