Is football not a team game anymore?

One player carries the goal scoring burden.

Same player carries the play making burden.

Same player should motivate the team before they can perform under pressure.

In practical terms; I love being practical.

At Madrid while Ramos was motivating the team, Ronaldo and Bale were getting crucial semi final and final goals.

At Liverpool while Henderson is motivating the team, Salah and Mane are scoring crucial finals goals.

At Bayern while Neuer or someone is motivating the team, Lewy and Muller are getting crucial finals and semi finals goals.



Then at our Barca, our very own Barca, lol.

One man dominates the goal scoring game, same man dominates the play making game,

And the same man should motivate,

if he doesn't motivate then he is a draw back and should leave the club!!!


Frankly I feel like biitch-slapping every single person with that opinion right now.

I would advise against selling Messi. We won't be contesting for any silverware a if not for him. You want to rebuild and sell all the 30yrs+ player, including the GOAT, that is currently better that all young stars in the world, and replace with 20-25yr old players, what is this? Fifa? Pes? Instead Messi should help in rebuilding Barcelona with the few years he has left.

After 4 consecutive humiliations in Europe, i wont hesitate to say Messi could be part of Barcelona's problem today. We have to move forward from him and build a really competitive team once again. We might even need to strip the captain armband from him, should he choose to stay. His four year captaincy has been a total disaster. It is no coincident that we last tasted true leadership the year before he assumed that throne.

We need some other person to motivate to win and it really doesn't have to be Messi. But then, if he does, it is another feather to his cap.

In as much as Messi ain't very vocal and it is a limitation on his part as the captain.. let's not pretend that we don't know that our problems stems from managerial ineptitude, gross incompetence and lack of quality from the board, the coaching staff and the players

Different captains motivate differently not always by shouting.. nothing should be more motivating for a player than seeing your captain and world best player.. put in his best shift almost every match.. evading kicks and tackles always trying to get the goals or set team mates up.. starting attacks almost singlehandedly every fvcking time in every fvcking match but no Messi must still play and then still sing and shout at jokers like busi, Griezmann, Suarez, alba, Roberto etc even as captain y'all are asking too much of him

Let's pretend that our problems these past few years are just"low morale" .. let's pretend that the last UCL match we showed character and passion (PSG) that Iniesta was shouting up and down like a mad man.. let's pretend that Messi shouting at Suarez will make him relearn ball control or scoring, or make busi stronger or make Vidal less shiit..

We have deep issues (quality and management) and no amount of shouting can remedy it..

If leo does leave this season (I hope not, yet) y'all will understand what it means to be fvcked

I still can't come to terms with the fact that a true Barca fan wants Messi out of the club.

No one is disputing those. In fact, there might be other problems which do not know of.
However, lack of leadership is one of the problems we have. Maybe, if we solve the other problems, the deficiency in the leadership department would be covered up.

As for those, wanting Messi to leave, they're simply people who think he shouldn't waste his last years on a mediocre team. He deserves better. And they're right.
Others feel Messi is also a problem. Imagine Messi doesn't like you in the team. You own is finished. Imagine Messi and Suarez, ignoring Griezmann in a match countless time.
