what is wrong in buying 2000 car, are sure you own a car?

It looks very clean outside, just make sure the electrical haven’t been tampered with in any way. If you can get a very good Peugeot expert to inspect the car then better

Strongly disagree with your opinion. All my siblings has peugeot cars with automatic transmission, none have failed till date, my mum even drives an auto 307 since 2013, still going on strong. Use the prescribed ATF and you are good

406 with auto transmission which is notoriously known for its tranny issues, even with proper maintenance they still tend to fail, make your research and find out and don't make conclusions based on your mums 307.

Going by your post, every car has automatic transmission issue then. The onyinbo that used the car for 20 years without issue, are they spirit?
That is the problem with you "corolla boys". If it is not corolla, the car is wack.
For every automatic transmission car, use the manufacturer's recommended fluid, service it regularly, ensure you don't use drive during intense "go slow" and don't overload the vehicle when speeding and the car is good to go.
