Where In Nigeria Is The Best Selling Point For IT Business? by chinavs9ja(m): 8:38am On Aug 22, 2020
Hello Nairalanders! Please a friend was asking me this question on which part of Nigeria is best for IT business. He actually wants to establish an IT company basically on Website development, Android APP development and many more. I was thinking of Lagos or Abuja but some were saying the Eastern part is top-notch. Please where can you suggest or any advice from professionals in the house?

This is very simple. Developed areas or developing areas are 10x more likely to get better traction as opposed to certain places.

The Eastern part is a bad idea. I personally wouldn't recommend it as that would mean he might not periodically get jobs, considering the fact that civil servants, skilled labourers and entrepreneurs make up the larger share of the East. Sadly, some are unenlightened to understand the advantage of owning a website, let alone keeping extra resources for managing and maintenance of the same.

And there is the issue of businesses going moribund and some relocating to some parts of the South.

However, his only escape route would be cutting across and serving clients from where he is instead of people within the region.

Lagos or Abuja but he will need a lot of convincing as an entrant into the market.
