Stop using students as pawns in your game of chess with government! You don't mean well for students! If you meant well for students, you wouldn't be so insensitive as to be thinking of further keeping the students at home even after they have languished at home for six months (almost an academic session)

I don't blame you people at all, I blame the governments that have failed to take drastic measures towards ending your nonsense in the public university system in Nigeria.

If FG knows they're not ready to to deal decisively with these people , then they should do what they're asking for.

It's fake, probably.

Just imagine people wey dem saddle with the task of educating a generation. Na so so strike dem sabi no wonder dem dey churn out half-baked disasters as graduates and you expect the country to make any headway?

How could an academic staff union of a university not know the difference between cooperation and "corporation" in God's name?

No be only corporation na company.

To better understand the enormity of this disaster, none of the posters above even noticed it because they obviously didn't know any better either. Even the op don sharp sharp correct him subject line lol. Na real wa

Chai.
Young man, most reasonable people will presume, rather logically, that that was a typo.

For the the umpteenth time, ASUU does not maintain any social media account. The national president made a disclaimer on this in January this year

All these strikes that always don't bring any positive result. I now think it's strictly for their own pocket.

In recent times, ASUU members have been actively involved in conducting elections in this country and you and I know how they take bribes from politicians to manipulate election results and declare the wrong people as winners.

Again, from the vice president to the minister of education and a large number of Buhari's cabinet members were once staunch ASUU members, what have they done to better the University system without ASUU going on strike? Why can't ASUU engage those members in government to improve the system without having to resort to strikes?
Re: Strike: ASUU Chairman Asks Nigerian Students For Their Cooperation by Lawsaite: 2:08pm On Aug 24, 2020
Op that's not official ASUU handle. ASUU had disassociated itself from that moniker severally
Re: Strike: ASUU Chairman Asks Nigerian Students For Their Cooperation by Nobody: 2:13pm On Aug 24, 2020
These folks are presently working in different private universities but holding some other people's children's education hostage for issues that has been there forever. I wonder why universities have not added ASUU strike to the school calendar. It's to be expected for at least 6 months every four years.

How do you know that they have not followed your recommendation of engaging those members in government to improve the system without results, hence the need for strike?

the problem with the students is dt they fail to understand the main reasons abt the yearly ASUS strikes..
our education sector is soo messed up even with soo much cash in the economy and all ASUU are fighting for is a little improvement in the sector...

if you think lecturers care about the state of our education you are a liar and you are deceiving yourself. Anybody that passed through any public Nigerian university knows that ASUU doesn't give a half baked fvck about students or the state of education.
