I bring to you the Rice farm in Sowunmi village, Ogun state. The rice farm is situated on over 120,000-hectares of land and located in Sowunmi village along the Ofada/Mokoloki axis of the state.

This is just one of the many rice farm project going around the state. The project is currently ongoing across eight ( local government including Obafemi-owode, Yewa North & South, Ijebu North & East, Ifo, Odeda, and Odogbolu.

The rice farms serves as a supply source for the four rice mills in Ogun state and will also service the Imota rice mill in Lagos after completion.

Yimu. 'Measure up to Igbos' how' We are the ones 'UP' already, so unless we wan go down, there's absolutely nothing to 'measure up' to when it relates to you guys. When it comes to agriculture in the South, e kere si number. The cash crops exports receipts prove it. SW produces and earns/exports more crops of value than any other egion in the south and arguably in the whole country (e.g, Cocoa, Tobacco, e.t.c). The region also hosts the largest piggery farms in West Africa, and a very prolific poultry sector (in fact the biggest in the entire country), amongst others. So tell me, what is there to 'measure up to' with you una??
