He could have simply thrown a quick witted dart - a belittling riposte - at the journalist. Just a sharp one or two liner that makes the journalist look stupid for asking such a question, and then brusquely turn your attention to someone else for the next question.

This kind of childish tantrums lasting a whole 3 minutes just shows that this man is joke. If a storm in a teacup was a person, he will be FFK. All sound and fury, so little substance.
