Change gearbox

It happened on my sienna, at the end I have to buy another gear box. The selenoid on the gear has damaged,so try not to fix, just replace it

Nothing beats rebuild...so far you're sure of what you're doing.

I don't know much about Toyota gearbox but last year I experienced this symptom in my 2000 Honda CR-V.
Drained & refilled oil, No way. Changed solenoids, no way.
I ended up buying a new transmission for N120k & everyone is happy.
I suggest you do thesame cuz your gear is obviously getting weak.

I tried unplugging the TPS...to my surprise the vehicle started selecting when the TPS is unplugged,but will not go beyond gear 3..I used another TPS on it the story is same.
