Gabriel's Agent explains Arsenal choice



Gabriel Magalhaes’ agent Guilherme Miranda has revealed that the influence of Arteta and Edu persuaded his client to join Arsenal.

The Lille defender is yet to be officially announced as a Gunner, but it seems a matter of when, not if, he joins Arteta’s side.

It seems like Arteta, alongside Edu, had the biggest say over the highly sought-after Brazilian centre-back.

Talking to Freddie Paxton, Miranda said: “Arsenal was nowhere near the best proposal (money-wise). Gabriel chose them over more lucrative offers because Edu convinced us of the project. It’s 100% because of Edu Gaspar and Arteta.”
