Igbo Leaders Waiting For Buhari's Approval Before Condemning Enugu Killing? by IamWonderful: 9:26am On Aug 27, 2020
Apart from Abaribe which is an IPOB sympathizer, No Igbo political or traditional leader have come out to condemn or even comment on the situation. Are they waiting for Buhari's Approval before commenting? Are the life of those people that died not as important and precious as the crumbs they are eating under Buhari's table? Are they afraid to speak in public? They don't want to be be in Buhari's black book? Are they thinking of 2023 presidency like Tinubu? or something?.

Killing of citizens should matter to any leader irrespective of tribe. Killings in Kaduna, Borno, Enugu should be condemned and those involved prosecuted.

Igbos are a wonderful and a terrible people. I am not surprised the so called leaders are not speaking up. After all, who speaks up the injustice meted on the Igbos by their own elected political leaders?

The Igbo leaders should know that whenever IPOB decides to pick up arms, they won't be coming for Buhari; they will be coming for their heads

Unfortunately, every Igbo man or woman in Nigeria is IPOB no matter how they try to distance themselves.

People should stop being apologetic about IPOB and their style of agitation.

Charley boy was IPOB worst nightmare in terms of criticism and denunciation yet when he staged the national protest raged "our mumu don do" he was never exonerated from Northern attack in Abuja. He was seen as IPOB and was a good as dead from massive hammering and attack until Igbos in Abuja mobilized and came to his rescue. It was termed Hausa vs Igbo fight in Abuja. Charley boy was told the plain truth by Igbos, we are your people not enemies

They are afraid of spending the night in the DSS facility.

But they are the same ones who are quick to label Yorubas as cowards.

They should try and be more like Omoyele Sowore, Fela Anikulapo Kuti, Woke Soyinka, Gani Fawehinmi etc who fought the government to a standstill without minding being thrown in jail.

I disagree with you, IPOB is different from Igbo people, IPOB is a secessional group insult every individual including ndigbo that doesn't buy their ideology. I am Igbo but not IPOB, even though I condemn the killing of unarmed Igbos in Enugu but all Igbos are not IPOB.

The day ipob takes up arms against FG, it's over. They may not win, but nigeria will never be the same again ever. There are lots of aggrieved groups in Nigeria who would latch on a huge confrontation of that nature to try to achieve thier freedom once and for all. And from all I see, there are very few groups in Nigeria other than the hausa fulani who are not seeking such an opportunity to take thier pound of flesh from this unholy union.

Those people are first human before IPOB

Only a wicked person with terroristic blood will take lives not to talk of that of harmless people while releasing those doing the actual killings

Abaribe seems to be the only person standing for justice right now because what the Federal Government are doing is just unjust

Some governors are realising that hence the approach e.g Amotekun, of recent Ebonyi asking them to have an ID card because these people can penetrate any group to perpetrate any evil

So the world does not need any selfish/coward governors to tell them what is unjust

But history will serve each of them when the time is right!!!

Ohaanaeze and Abaribe already did. Ugwuanyi waded into the matter that same day. Afonja, remove your nose from Igbo matters. Only gullible Igbos would believe that you people care. The same people who were encouraging the killing of Igbos in the other thread. Alabosi!

Don't be deceived! All Igbos are IPOB. All Igbos want Secession. If u doubt me, organise a referendum about Biafra in igboland today and u will be surprised that 100% of them will vote for Biafra.

Some Igbos might be denying IPOB publicly today out of political correctness but they are all IPOB in spirit.

A good leader should be against all the evil killings in Nigeria whether it is in the north or south, what is bad is bad

Dear Nigerians!

How long have we toiled and sweated while a selected few have taken large chunks of our harvests, leaving the starving masses with barely anything left. Yet, they have brazenly remained insensitive to the cries of the same voters they claim to serve.

They have only been sympathetic when it's beneficial. When they are canvassing for support from the electorate, that's when you will find them spraying wads of cash, for the masses have been so hungry, they do not think that N5000 is such a little sum to trade their future for.

This is not news. The media these days is populated by one headline detailing the mismanagement of public funds after another. Yet, nothing is being done about.

Nigerians, I implore you to join a team of fellow concerned Nigerians as we put our heads together to try to bring a solution to our present political predicament. We are not going to protest, we are going to embark on a strategic plan to attempt to effect a change in us ourselves first before we dare to bring same to the shores of the political dispensation.

Join us at OUR FUTURE IS NOW, /nigerianyouthsaretired as we try our collaborative efforts to make our motherland a better place for our offsprings unborn.

So the security operatives should not defend themselves because they are not terrorists after one of them was beating to death with stick by the proscribed IPOB resisting arrest? initially it was DSS that came to arrest those people, but when they noticed they became violent, they call the police then the police invited the army and the airforce

Seriously Kanu is arrogant, he should have involved other Igbo leaders and traditional rulers, his agitation is good but his methods are faulty and deadly

Have the DSS finished with the Fulani herdsmen, bandits or Bokoharam

Are Igbos terrorizing this country

Were they violent when the DSS approached them

Of what use is it arresting non violent people and turning blind eyes to terrorists

By this act, the DSS is not so different from those terrorists

They find it easy taking lives undecided

Were they meant to take or protect lives

Answer! Just answer me!!!
