His royal highness, Agabaidu, the Attah of The Igala Kingdom, Michael Idakwo Ameh Oboni the 2nd, Attah the 4th, is dead. He reportedly died in the early hours of today, 27th August 2020.

Facebook users, particularly
the ones from Kogi state announced his sudden demise via the platform, while describing today as ‘Black Thursday’.

No official statement has been issued from the palace at the time of filing this report.
