I called the customer care of nipost,he said my item was sent down to the east on Wednesday,but the post office here as at this morning said nothing has come in...has this happened to anyone before?

I called too and was told that my tracking number is not trackable. Cainiao is the company bring it

Ordered - 7th march
Shipped - 11th March
Shipper - China Post
Transit - 171 days in transit.
Received - Today 27th August.

So apparently backlogs are being attended to. Got a package of March today. In the attached picture circled in pink, you can see the huge leap in tracking information missing 5 months from 18th March to 27th August. All those times nothing was done about the package; COVID-induced I guess.

Matter of fact I'd won dispute for this long ago and forgotten it; never ever expecting it to arrive.

Today, I received my second Yanwen shipment, a computer glasses, it was shipped on 10th of June. It arrived Nigeria early, but as usual was delayed for about a month before it gets to me.

.nipost is just doing guess work in delivering parcel.some feb and march order are still in their possession.my april order took 3months before dey updated it.someone here just got his march order yesterday after over 5months,and those who ordered in june and July are receiving their parcel ist.

One supposedly dumb NIPOST personnel said all parcels that are being delivered are kind of smuggled as international flights are yet to resume

lol smuggled indeed.international flight hasnt started but govt allowed plane to carry goods only in Nigeria.it has been like that since the lock down.only cargo plane do come in to Nigeria.its just that nipost are using d corona virus compulsory holiday to suffer us.it seems dey dnt want to work self

it wasn't banned brof.nipost are d ones suffering one bcus of lockdown.even as president bu bu freed lockdown,dey are still reluctant to work effectively

That's why I didn't make the mistake of using Benin but Lagos even though I'm no longer in Lag

It looks like there's an improvement though, earlier parcels are getting to destination country faster

Again, I discovered something. Shipping to Nigeria is usually very expensive compared to shipping to US from anywhere in the world. Systems.

Most items on eBay for instance ship free to all US States, and most of these items don't even ship to Nigeria at all.

So, I think this is best for me.

Ship to US for FREE. Shipper ships to Nigeria at $5/lb.

My worry is if the shipping from AliExpress is directly to the address.

If I buy from eBay and OfferUp, they ship directly to the address. No issues.

I have not bought from AliExpress.

I buy heavy and quantity items from Alibaba and I have a shipper in China that handles that.

Your shipping company should have a home based office here in nigeria or drop at airport with an agent for pickup.
