Good morning people!

I know nairaland is a platform full of people from different career backgrounds and I'll like to leverage on this to get some information about the communications career.

I have a first and second degree in Communication and I presently work in the financial sector. I'll like to switch to corporate communication/ Integrated Marketing Communication not necessarily in the financial sector alone but in other sectors too.

I'm aware that there aren't professional courses for communication graduates to take, at least, at the Nigerian level. I'll like to find out from those who presently work in Corporate Communication-
What exams or certifications did you have to get to enable you work in the field? What additional skills will make it easy for me to make the switch? How can I position myself career wise to be able to get a role in Corporate Communication.

I'll really appreciate comments from people in this field. Thank you!

You want people to comment on your diary post yet you have restricted posts.

Any way, I think you're privileged.
Or God really got your back.

But at the end, you should find your passion.
Dont quit just yet.

Make enough money to fund your passion.
