Smelling and clogged drainages are the signature of many areas in Port-Harcourt, Rivers State and the state government led by Governor Nyesom Wike will not let you see any of it on Television.

A first time visitor to the Garden City as Port Harcourt is fondly called, would be left wondering if the government of the day has a functioning Ministry of Environment as these drainages filled to the brim continues to pose health hazards to the lives of its citizens.

Breeding ground for mosquitoes, posted below are more photos from the environmental sanitation carried out today by members of the Young Africa Leaders Initiative led by Hilary Joseph a PortHarcourt based fish farmer.
