I have not read the whole news but the top story caught my attention.

Are you now telling us boldly that NDDC is nothing but an agency, set up by Federal government so that the top government officials would be using it to settle themselves?

If I now propose for NDDC to be scrapped, many would come ranting.

But, is NDDC actually doing what it was created for?

No wonder my Eastern brothers are agitating for SEDC, South East Development Commission, they are opposing it that we don't have much resources to fund it if not to depend solely on fund coming from the centre, but I know, if created, we South Easterners would make judicious use of it to develop South East.

South East is not like South South, we even embark on community development via age group, women group through August meeting and so on.

Point to ponder on, what has North East has to offer but there was a creation of such developmental agency in North East?

Their one and only reason is that Book Haram had done much harm that it needs to be revamped.
