The issue of currency devaluation and inflation rates is affecting not just Multichoice but all the main players in the real sector of the economy. The government, as a matter of urgency should work out stabilizing measures to mitigate the effect of the variables, that is responsible for the high cost of doing business in the country, Many organizations are on the brink of bankruptcy and barely managing to remain afloat, with little or no support from the government. |

But this is very wrong. Why will a government be determining the everyday activities of a private company, why will govt be managing their affairs. You regulate their fees, now you want to regulate their employees. Is DSTV a govt owned company? Very wrong. They are a private company and they don't own AMCON money for govt takeover. Is Nigeria now a socialist country ![]() |

Enough of insults from these devil sattelite TV, if only we could unite and boycott their services for 1Month they will retract there bad behaviors. But many Nigerians already see owning a dstv decoder as an achievement. We are the only African country that tolerates and rewards exploitation. |

Maxymilliano:Using multiple rates for round tripping corruption, like the Abacha era, won’t let them do the needful. Too much looting by Barawo Bubu and his presidency cabal of 40 thieves. |

nairavsdollars:You won't let them increase their subscription plan, you won't let them lay off workers, but you insist on your 7.5% VAT increase. Underpaid DSTV staff loading. |

The government are not protecting it's citizens from anything. From the security situation of herdsmen and Boko haram. And certainly not from the excessive exploitation of Nigerians from Multichoice(DSTV) |

nairavsdollars:These people has made much money from us over the years, but just because of one economic hit, they are deciding to take it to another level. If other business loosed in this period, DStv and co didn't loose, instead they made much money as a lot of people reconnected their Decoders |

od501:Multichoice isnt d only company that was taxed. At d Advent of covid,, Most Nigerian companies of its size decided to half staff salaries in order not to sack staff. If sacking staff is d only way it can stay afloat, then it should sack it's south African staff in Nigeria |

VeeVeeMyLuv:Exactly. I used to be so much into watching of football matches but when their prices started going haywire, I advised my self. Cos not only the 12-18k subscription but you will also need to fuel the generator to be able watch. Have already lost d taste for live football, if I like,I stream it or I just follow d match on livescore etc. I can't come an kill myself |
