Kbs468:I think we should sell him and get a young striker. I have my reasons though. |

Roland17:I think 3-4-3 is still the best if we want Auba and Pepe to score more goals this season. With 4 at the back, they will be playing as a winger... a bit far from the opponent box. With 3 at the back, they automatically become the WFs. |

iamoyindamola:The same Xhaka . Dude has immensely improved. Even the Partey we're chasing, he is also benefitting from ATM defensive set up. |

iamoyindamola:AMN is going nowhere because right now, PSG has tabled £25 million for Bellerin with Arsenal demanding a fee in the region of £35 million |

mostob:Yes selling is the best option. Odsonne Edouard has even been left out of the Celtic squad for their last 2 matches already-One, a champions league qualifier and a Scottish league match |

We just need Cellabos on loan and will be complete 3-4-3 GK: Martinez DF: Saliba Luiz Gabriel MF: Tierney Xhaka Cellabos Bellerin FW: Willams Auba Saka Sub: Leno Kolasinac Chambers Niles Willock Pepe Lacazette Top 4 will be sure |

iamoyindamola:I never read about his injury though and the same with Benrahma-he is been left out of their last match alongside the goalkeeper-David Raya Although injury was mentioned as the reason for the Keeper but nothing was said for Benrahma |

| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Kbs468(m): 1:34pm On Sep 02, 2020 |
jamalnation:I think I will disagree with you on this because your lineup still doesn't address the issue of our defensive frailties as well as the lack of creativity upfront so another Defensive and Attacking midfielder are needed to give us the very much desired and required steel in the middle of the pack |

jamalnation:we are only mentioning Ceballos because he was with us last season but in truth, how many chances did he created for our attack line? we seriously need AMs that would create chances for goals so that when we concede, we can easily reply back with goals in truth |

Kbs468:I don't really know how good Edouard is sha but I heard he is 6 ft. Welcome addition. Auba and Laca will likely not be at arsenal in about 3 years from now so we should start preparing for their departure. |

“It didn’t make sense to me at the time. It was too good to be true almost. It was my birthday, I got man of the match, I scored a penalty - and then an England call-up - all in the same day. It’s crazy.” - Ainsley Maitland-Niles on his England call-up https:///vTMLDq8ftF |

Kbs468:Personally i feel xhaka/cellabos combination is very balance. flexiblity & steel with the help of willams & saka drifting into the middle of the park to make up numbers when we are not on the ball it will be like a 5-4-1 and as for creativity saka & willams will create the chances needed we also have cellabos too. there is tierney & bellerin who would weep those killer croses. most of our goals comes from the flank |

Kbs468:In 3-4-3 system you hardly get the best out of your CM or AM in term of assist and creating chance. you wide player tend to benefit more with the LWB/RWB always in support of the LW/RW that was the problem we had with guendouzi always running out of position leaving xhaxa at the middle alone meanwhile with cellabos he is always at the middle helping out xhaka. even if we have de bruyne with this current formation he would not get the number of assist we want. except arteta changes to another formation |

mostob:Not really, it depends. If you have someone like Ozil or Willian playing AM and can easily switch to wing it can allow Aubameyang to move central. |

Spy360:We don’t have a 10 but peeps will blame Xhaka for the switch to a 3-4-3 that worked and papered our crack. Like everyone will be stupid enough like Emery that will rely on Willock or Guen to play a 10 role |

Spy360:Our midfield currently cannot contain a third player, because it's so porous that we have to pack a double pivot tight to a back 3 simply to create the impression of defensive solidity. Look what happened when we tried Xhaka-Ceballos in front of a back 4 against an already-relegated Watford. from reddit |

Spy360:He has his weaknesses which I have stated clearly that are not good enough for a 4-3-3. But it’s ridiculous the number of things he’s been blamed for on this thread, Xhaka is the reason for the terrible midfield under Emery, he’s the one responsible for Guendouzi’s subpar performance, he’s to blame for the slow growth of the young midfielders, he’s to blame for 3-4-3 that was switched to by Arteta due to lack of an AM. If u can’t impregnate ur wife it’s Xhaka’s fault. |

he only switches positions when we are defending and building from the back. He even pushes up to winger position to allow Aubameyang go central. Such is the tactical genius in Arteta- to give players unique roles that confuses the opposition. That's why AMN is winning MOTM awards, he is tactically flexible and astute. We will lose a real talent if he leaves, and I believe the Arsenal board have realised this and ended speculations about him leaving.
