Ojiofor: Gosh! Why are you ibos such hypocrites?? Now you don change tone begin deploy divide and rule tactics? After trying to make a case for ibos being allowed to enjoy same privileges as natives in yorubaland and elsewhere, you are now trying to separate 'Eko' from the rest of Yorubaland. Again I ask, why are you ibos like this? Why?? It's the same tactics una employ by coining the 'Yoruba muslim' crap. Always trying to divide people. Smh. Just because Anambra Catholics refuse to be headed by a fellow ibo priest simply because he hails from Imo doesn't mean Yorubas have to toe the same path, guy. If yorubas and others (including the Canadians), are to toe the path you are suggesting, the ibos you are celebrating for getting appointments in other lands won't even stand a chance. You people are just too clannish. If you are expecting Yorubas to adopt that clannish worldview in the way they relate with one another in yorubaland, just perish the thought. FYI, Lagos is the commonwealth of the Yorubas, hence it is not by mistake that it is under the SW. If Nigeria ceases to exist tomorrow, you and your blodas would head back to Onitsha and claim your new country's passport. Lagos will always be under the protection of the larger Yoruba nation from vultures like you lots, because it is our most strategic piece of real estate that can't be allowed to fall into the hands of dreamers with land grabbing ambitions. #Fact. So you had better get used to the fact that its affairs would always be steered and influenced by Yorubas from both within and outside the state. I don't expect you to understand this point because you are ibo. We operate on different wavelengths. 8 Likes 3 Shares |

Y'all just proved the writers point of igbos beign scorned in Nigeria.. Two pages of hate against one particular tribe, yet you develope seizures anytime they want to secede, can't you see your problems are not hatred but envy? Shoudn't you be doing NK's work to actualize Biafra let them go with all their problems? What exactly do you want from Igbos? For them to come down to your lower echelon ewedu bracket? Sorry, you will wait for ever 4 Likes |

solmusdesigns: Igbos must always create false narratives to validate their clannish and innate sense of persecution complex. This Canada judge thingy should be seen for what it is. Simply another Nigerian doing well as many, many others have done. They have spammed cyberspace with this news yet other ethnic groups, also enjoying superlative successes worldwide, dont do this. Yet Igbos must spin this man's achievement, very common to see from Nigerians of various ethnic groups, to suit every complex (and there are many) addling their jingoistic and paranoid minds. Tiresome people Igbos. Everything they must first use to seek validation for their obsession with telling the usual false and discredited story of "triump against all persecution/obstacles". As some have stated already, how are the Igbos persecuted or impeded more than others in Nigeria? If the Yorubas and Hausa/Fulani really hate the Igbos and want them to fail, which Nigerian is dumb enough not to know that the considerable success of Igbos we see today in the SW and North of Nigeria would simply not exist? Rather, for all their noise of persecution, it is in the land of the Igbo man you find the most deliberately discriminatory and stiffling hostility that makes it difficult for non-Igbos to succeed and prevents the development of truly egalitarian and cosmopolitan societies. Distinct about Igbos is that they are a people always asking of others what they are unwilling to give and always demanding exemptions, allowances, tolerance and concessions they will never accord others. 9 Likes 3 Shares |

Commonsense99: Another dishonest, insincere and delusional Igbo hack. Must actualizing Biafra begin with a formal ceremony and national naming declaration? If all Igbos dedicate themselves to moving to the SE and staying there, to make it a rallying point of Igbo greatness, do you think even the most dedicated one Nigeria advocate would be able to deny the formal announcement of Biafra after the Igbos have achieved the geographical existence of Biafra? What Biafra are you fighting for with Igbos happily and willingly displaced worldwide and disinterested in going back to ala Igbo? Or you want Biafra in Accra, London, New York, Cape Town, Asmara, Zamfara, Kaduna, Ogun, Lagos, Osun or Benue? Which secessionist group have ever agitated for self-determination not predicated on insularity and a need to live independently within a defined border? The above is enough to chew on as per the insincerity of Igbos making it entirely pointless we go into the issue of how the political, business and elite leaders of Igbos have zero interest in Biafra and continue to be happy representing Nigeria and benefitting from her. 5 Likes 3 Shares |

AlabiJ: Lagos is common wealth of all Nigerians as Nigeria former federal capital city and current economic capital of Nigeria, you are being clannish by claiming it for hinterland Yorubas alone while at the same time marginalising indigenous Lagosians .That is wickedness and enternal colonilisation. How many Lagos state indigenes are representing Oyo,Osun,Ondo,Ogun and Ekiti states in the House of Rep or Senate or governors in those states?Bode George has been lamenting that you'all should give them a breathing space in their home land(more like they can't breathe due greediness of people like you and Tinubu). Igbos are not the problem of real Eko citizens they who their problems are and it is you. 1 Like |

Ojiofor: For the last time, omo yieibo face AlaIgbo. You are NOT and can never be a mouthpiece for Lagos indigenes. Iwo omo atohunrinwa lasan lasan. There's a reason why the Bode George you are referring to has remained (and will continue to remain) in political wilderness in Lagos state throughout his political history. It is simply because he is playing politics of division that he most likely learned from fraternizing with you lots. He is reputed for trying to whip up sentiments and seeking ibo political support (after repeated rejections by the majorly Awori and Ijebu native grassroots in the state) in his failed attempt to seize power in Lagos, but he is a joker because like I said earlier, the larger Yoruba race would never allow you greedy and divisive elements with land-grabbing ambitions the luxury of annexing Lagos through the nefarious activities of the likes of George. Forget it, it will never happen. Minorities will always have their say while the majority have their way. Go back and tell Bode George that his plan of ceding Lagos to land-grabbing non-Yorubas will always fail. 6 Likes 2 Shares |

Ojiofor: If Igbos are not going anywhere then learn to show gratitude to your host and shut your divisive and bellicose mouth. Stop getting in the way of Yorubas and stop trying to drag Lagos with us because it is the only way you will survive and thrive going forward post Tinubu and the other old boys. You are the only ethnic group doing this and showing open rebellion and disrespect against Yorubas in their own land when this is not seen anywhere in Nigeria today You will be dealt with when liberal alayes like Tinubu are gone and there are only aggressive, young, eye-for-an-eye Yoruba turks around. Bode George, Agbaje etal wont be around to save you lot either. When Martin Luther King time don pass and na Malcom X dey in charge you Igbos go soji kia kia. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Ojiofor: Yorubas don't issue threats emptily or needlessly. We are not chest beaters like Igbo. I am telling you what will happen given the ethnic tension and toxicity being promoted today by Kanu and co across Nigeria that will make everyone move to protect their own people and interest. Foe every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. The more Igbos show their agenda of hate for Yorubas the more the younger and more intolerant generation of omoluabis will move to protect themselves and their own. No threat brother. 7 Likes 2 Shares |
