The founding Director General of PDP Governors Forum, Earl Osaro Onaiwu has commended the Oba of Benin, His Royal Majesty (HRM), Omo N’ Oba N’ Edo Uku Akpolokpolo, Oba Ewuare II, for this forthrightness and frankness.

Reacting to some emerging facts from the Oba's meeting with major political gladiators in the state, Onaiwu said the Oba has done well as an upright and unbiased father who is worthy of the royal throne bequeathed to him by his ancestors.

He noted that Oba Ewuare's call for peace in the imminent Edo State governorship election and his unbiased condemnation of ensuing political violence and its proponents is a testament to the king's nobility and love for his people.

In a related development, Onaiwu called on security agencies to continue to beam their searchlight on former National of APC, Adams Oshiomhole and Mr. Osagie Ize-Iyamu who is the guber candidate of the APC.

He asserted that the duo have a well documented track record of violence trailing them, hence it would not be out of place to keep them on a security watchlist.

He further alluded that both men, along with an assumed sponsor, Capt. Hosa Okunbo do not appear to have shown remorse even after the charge of the Oba of Benin for a peaceful election. He called for serious cautioning of these men.

Onaiwu stated that they are known aggressors who would not take a quarter of the harassment they've meted on Governor Godwin Obaseki at the palace. He wondered how brutish they would have been wielding power if they were the ones in office presently.

The Oba messed up by specifically mentioning the deputy governor without also reprimanding Kabaka, Oshiomhole who's thugs attacked the governor.
Seeing such a scenario you can't expect the other side to keep quiet.

The Oba needs to mention Shuaibu's name so that the while country will know who is truly arming thugs. Same Shuaibu was in Abuja last month moving from IGP office to DSS office shouting that Oshiomhole and Ize-Iyamu are arming thugs....

The Oba has his Intelligence. He called Philip based on this Intelligence.

I urge you to go back and watch the video we're Kabaka was insulting the governor when he was notified that his hotel was on wrong land.

But, you will agree with me that the Gov went too far in bringing the hotel down. He should have played a fatherly role, show restraints and leadership. Apply Wisdom.

Obaseki did the right thing.

I made that bold comment because we were talking of respect for the office of the governor.
If you have any personal issues with the governor, you should seek other channels, instead of insulting the governor.
Age Kabaka is younger than Obaseki.
It should be served as a deterent to others.
