Here is Atiku some months back congratulating the Government for removing subsidy.

FG finally withdraws from the fuel subsidy and price-fixing bazaar that had been rife with corruption and stalling investments. This is something patriots have been calling for and for which I was demonised.

This is not the time to increase fuel price in our darling nation at all.

Not with all that is going on around the world, pandemic et al,
When people are finding it difficult to survive.

This is the same reason we voted out the party of thieves and criminals.

This is not the change we voted for.

The same way we sane, honest and hardworking Nigerians praised this government when they reduced fuel price sometimes ago, we should make sure we put our voice together to castigate and talk against this.

That is the voice the government will listen to,
Not the voice of children of hate, frustration and perdition that have never seen any good thing in our country,
That all they do is to wail continously in life.
They even wailed when the price was reduced.
They have been wailing since PMB won the election, even before swearing in!
They are not wailing for the common man like (Omotola) and all other sane and honest people are doing, but they are wailing in pain that the corrupt money being shared to them by the losers they support is not forthcoming anymore.
They have been so used to corruption, they see it as a way of life.
That is what we stand against.

Sane, honest and hardworking Nigerians,
Let us come together to Say no to this fuel increase,
We need no increament at this time and please ignore enemies of the country that want the evil politicians they voted for to remain in power together.

This is not the change we voted for.
Something must be done about this NOW!
God bless Nigeria.

If you are a genuine Nigerian against this increase like us,
Signify and let us take it from here,
We have the Voice and the Power as citizens.
And if you are an enemy of the nation,
aka, children of hate and perdition, aka swines, and dare quote this post to wail,
May the suffering of the masses go to your heads and the heads of your looters you support a 100 folds.
May you be strike down with the hatred for our country that has consumed you from day one.
Quote, let us know who will be struck rn!

We Rise

Timekeeper:
Dapo... Why are u supporting this
Now. Tfare go rise
No mind am jare.
All they care about is themselves.
Rubbish!
A better Nigeria is all we want.

Since 2015, Buhari has been removing subsidy.

Before December, Nnpc will still tell us how many billions they paid in subsidy again.

Atiku, Buhari, Kalu, Tinubu don't know the impact of the hike, but here you are, consoling yourself with a tweet grin

When you finish, just wash your face and realize that you'll still buy it at #162 irrespective of party membership, tribe, education or whatever

Buhari really hit everybody hard, especially at this time....and I love it kiss

The question is, if subsidy was truly removed, why is the pump price being increased?

Anybody with sense and foresight would support such liberating move, Kingsley Moghalu also supports it... Ngozi Okonjo iweala even threatened Goodluck Jonathan to resign if he doesn't stop the subsidy scam, but Goodluck Jonathan bowed to pressure of paid protesters and political fraudsters called activist

It's a shame it took NNPC Global Economic Meltdown due to covid pandemic, and the incoming economic recession to end subsidy scam

The only succour to comon man is that many modular refineries are nearing completion accross SS/SE an SW Dangote refinery would start production before 2022

It means APC even lied to everyone then. When the price is supposed to be reduced, that's when it's now going up. So Atiku is right to be against the increment in price of petrol.

Atiku was right then

The subsidy has to go.

We cannot be selling petrol below the cost of production and have government waste millions on subsidy..a corruption prone subsidy self

Unfortunately the subsidy was a scam from the beginning - it allowed NNPC to squander billions of dollars without extracting or lifting a drop of crude for the past 20 years. it also allowed corrupt entities like OANDO, Sahara Energy and other Fuel Marketers with direct links to politicians and government officials cheat Nigeria as she received $2 as royalty per barrel, the cronies sold the crude at $110 - $140 per barrel, bought petrol at less than $1 then sold it back to the Nigerian Government at a premium after collecting subsidized dollars.

as few as less than 1% control the wealth of Nigeria and they are laughing at all of you fighting on boards like Nairaland and Facebook about a revolution... there is nothing left to fight for grin

Our politicians always speaking out of both sides of their mouth! Just yesterday, you were in support of the removal of subsidy from fuel, today, you're rescinding your statement because of hardship in the nation! Did our hardship start just now now? Not until we have a renewing of our minds as youths in this country, putting aside, religion, ethnicity, party involvement and putting into perspective, young, selfless and vibrant individuals that mean us well in this country, we will remain in the rot we find ourselves in right now!

If past government since 1999 has stopped this subsidy we wouldn't have been facing all this challenges . The issue is that now is not an ideal time
