We and all sane, hardworking and honest Nigerians SAY NO TO FUEL PRICE INCREMENT.

For emphasis sake,

This is not the time to increase fuel price in our darling nation at all.

Not with all that is going on around the world, pandemic et al,
When people are finding it difficult to survive.

This is the same reason we voted out the party of thieves and criminals.

This is not the change we voted for.

The same way we sane, honest and hardworking Nigerians praised this government when they reduced fuel price sometimes ago, we should make sure we put our voice together to castigate and talk against this.

Sane, honest and hardworking Nigerians,
Let us come together to Say no to this fuel increase,
definitely not at this time and ignore enemies of the country that want the evil politicians they voted for to remain in power together.

This is not the change we voted for.
Something must be done about this NOW!
God bless Nigeria.

All of us @[/b] will be at the Forefront of the protest this week.
Join us there sane, honest and hardworking Nigerians.

We Rise

Great.
God bless you dearie.
A better Nigeria is all we want.

[s]Since 2014, all excos of the NLC have been sponsored by APC.

They did not see the heavy yoke Buhari has placed on the masses in all manner of ungodly taxes, fuel price hike , electric tarrifs, job losses, Chinese concessions that have bought Nigeria's sovereignty, crash of the naira, etc. It is Wike they want to strike.

Wike should apply the no work no pay and use the partial lockdown of govt offices to sack these communist wannabes.[/s]
Nonsense.
Re: Brace Up For Protest, Strike Action – NLC, TUC Charge Rivers Workers by AwkaFinest: 8:00am On Sep 06, 2020
Since Wike came into power, no employment, no promotion, no gratuity paid, no pension paid. Even minimum wage he is not paying. All commissioners are just figureheads that have no say in their various ministries. The clown Wike controls everything from the government house.

NLC please shutdown everything.

When most sane country are trying to revive their economy from the effects of covid-19, this government is frustrating it's citizens.
By trying to raise more money for itself? & by the way which other country have you lived other than Nigeria for you to use as comparison?

Better late than never!!! For the past two years, I've been preaching this gospel. Nigeria must go through what I call The Disciplining of History. It's like a cordon sanitaire to erring nations. And, in my book, Tomorrow, We Are Free, I argued this unimpeachable thesis.
Adams Oshiomole, as an activist, in the early 2000s, was trying to do it, trying to stoke its flames, but he veered off, abandoned his appointed station in life and began to serve power.

In 2012 you protested against Jonathan, in 2020 you still want to protest on the same issue, when will be the right time to deregulate the market, 3 years after you have been buried?

Just like you would do if given the same opportunity as Dr Oshiomhole?, please publish your book, or memoirs so you can make small Naira for yourself, only a Fool will die for selfish, tribalistic Nigerians.

horrible journalism. They couldn't even state the reason the workers and planning a protest. Rivers State Government has not promoted any worker in the past 10yrs. They have not implemented the new minimum wage. Pensioners are being owed several months pension. Yet Wike attacks FG.

favor914,too easy and too simplistic.People are different, with different mindsets, different destinies. I don't belong to the league of those who sheepishly follow the herd. I've got a mind of my own.
Wole Soyinka, Fela Kuti, Gani Fawehinmi, Beko Kuti, Femi Falana etc didn't do a bad faith - they didn't abandon their appointed station in life as organic intellectuals. So, don't straitjacket everyone in your mode of thinking and expectations.

PS. I've already published my book. It's on Amazon KDP Store .

now I can see clearly where the ugly head is rearing from, very pathetic!

if you worship useless governance all in the name of party, you don't expect every sane individual to have such mentality.

Edo no be Rivers and can never be, even Wike knew he will loose if any strong party was contesting against him, that is why he made sure APC didn't field any candidate with the help of the judiciary.

you can keep denying your Ibo origin to score a point, I love it.

Rivers people are not cowards like your people, can you move over to your thread and complain rather than frustrating the interest of Rivers people?
Rivers state can only be compared to Lagos when it comes to resource.
we are not used to such wicked governance and will never keep quiet to it, even the court trying to frustrate the protest will learn that in democracy the voice of the people stand out.
You're not even a Rivers man, anyone can be anything online, is it not amazing how suddenly you know the meaning of a " wicked government "?,NLC and TUC that's calling for protest in Rivers what have they done on the state of the Nation?, that's why no one takes them serious any more. I know you're only a " brave man" online. Enjoy your day.

Hmm
Same thing of that nature is happening here in Cross river but ayade has compromised labour Union's so they can't do jack. If wike settles them they might keep quiet.
The current crop of politicians we have 90% of them should be sent on exile regardless of political party.

I know he will try to pacify them one way or the other. But seeking for court injunction to stop the strike is a no no.

Wike has done absolutely nothing to improve the lives of Rivers people. All he knows is to build flyovers and give cars to politicians and judges. A state that has 23 LGAs, but Wike has concentrated 98% of all his projects in just 2 LGAs. Are the other LGAs in Cameroon?

When it comes to employment and workers welfare he is the worst thing that has ever happened to Rivers State ever.

Nonsense!

It's not a matter of turning the place upside down. We are only in deep regret that we brought this calamity into power.

I just hope in the next election Rivers people will see that it's not about the party, but the person. Wike has failed and I'm not afraid to say it.
