It is relevant because in the country (UK) where P&ID filed the lawsuit, it is illegal to pay bribes to secure a contract. That is why the FG is focusing it's efforts on proving that bribes were paid making the contract illegal in the first place. Suffice it to say, an illegal contract makes said contract null and void.

The lawsuit was filed in the UK. UK and EU law prohibit bribery. Therefore the contract is null and void according to UK/EU law. (i.e. if is accepted by UK courts). If the contract is null and void under UK law, P&ID cannot seize any Nigerian assets in the UK or EU.

If we are yet to be sold to those we are hold 95% of the debt, how will the minor stake holder take over. This beer parlor news should not be encouraged to be the truth. I'm not justifying borrowing here, but we wouldnt have been in dare need of funds like this if the Poverty development party PDP has done a good job in management of funds during the good time of the windfall.
