This premise is subject to debate, people who claim everything is predestined, and that we can do nothing to change it, look before they cross the road. e get why
It depends on the angle u are coming from... Most people hold on to the believe of "ur time" as regards death due to what faith they belong to. But personally I believe man with his free will and choice also influence the length of his days, that doesn't mean a higher power is not in existence oooh

Mugiwaraluffy:

I'll answer this in his absence
1. When you break code eg blow AWOL for more than 48hrs
2. Exam malpractice
3. Malice on junior cadets (even though it's the norms in there) especially when village people wan visit ur case, you go chop person father and the person get very strong leg, if dey press for justice you're going out
4. Irregularities of documents
5. Physical fitness (if medical screening is conducted and you fail, you're going out)
6. Cadet relegation time repeating a terma (class) 2x
Several others bro.
Just pray to God and obey rules and regulations as much as possible.
If you watch the last video Ugo4u posted towards the end, you can hear when an officer was giving warning to those cadets if they blow AWOL or break rules, they're going out.
What's AWOL please

Lol
Away without official leave.
In military, you don't leave without an official permission.
Cadets often run out of academy for some days due to personal reasons. Some to go and see sama, some flex within town and go back. It's norms there, but don't be caught.
But I don't think SSC cadets blow AWOL o. Sha, who no come no go know.
Maybe some of them currently in there can shed more light to that

On that matter of predestination, I don’t believe anything is predestined... like I said earlier on this thread, God gave us free will and the ability of choice... was Judas destined to betray Jesus? No.. it was written that a disciple will betray him... it could have been Peter or Paul.. it could have been anybody who allowed hate and greed into their hearts.. that’s why the Bible says guard your heart.
If you decide to jump off a 20 story building now or shoot yourself in the head, do you think you were destined to shoot yourself in the head? You chose to do it and whatever decisions we make, we must live with the consequences...Right now, you can choose to give up on your army ambition even if you were destined to be a great general... have you not heard of men of God saying when god first called them, they declined and the mantle moved to somebody else? I’ve heard and seen it.. the founder of a very popular church in Ogun state wasn’t the first person to receive the mantle.. somebody declined the call and it moved... it’s all choices and decisions..

Even to sign your forms when a referee see army they'll tell you to use your life and do better thing even some senior officers even say this ,

A Major General, told me to leave Army Job that he will put me in NIA, unfortunately Nigerian Army Intelligence Officers were absorbed instead,

I lost focus on Military, Fitness Rock bottom,
Generals always like to tell us not to apply.. I don’t know if it’s a thing but it’s very common among them..

I believe military is a unit or a noble parasatal in a given country, I wonder why most soldiers see it as a confraternity and makes every shit secretive.
What happened to the military-civil relations? Simple question that one can just answer without stress he'll bring in sentiments
I'm currently a corps member though I've been following this thread since 3yrs ago, I would be going for course 47 by God's grace. I believe those of you that will make it to course 46 won't be stingy with informations which a civilian can't profer.
I want to commend the noble efforts of ugo4u, sikowitz17, Mugiwaraluffy and shamack so far for keeping this thread active/lively and productive. I wish you all well senior.
Victory is from God alone️‍♂️

somebody said it earlier that it depends on your faith and believe, left for me, I believe everything that would happen to man have been predestined, however, the way and manner the predestination will come to pass is left to you. Yesterday, 2 females soldier died in Ilorin, they were not on any mission oh, it was reckless driving by keke napep riders that killed them, what I want to bring out is that, is it their free will to die like that or the predestination?

I know of someone who died when NAF and thug are fighting, the bros was right in his room, it was a stray bullet that brought the man down, the bullet follow through his room window, was that is free will or the personnel that shot free will to kill him in his room?
