OP, tell your igbo brothers to change the way they relate with others. If other tribes (over 400) are wary of igbo tribe, something if fundamentally wrong. Till thy kingdom come, igbo may not smell presidency or secede unless others agree to break - up. Igbo race are their own problem in Nigeria.

In the 1990's, OPC were a reign of terror in the South West, killing, destroying, shooting and burning. Yet that did not stop Nigerians electing a Yoruba man called Olusegun Obasanjo in 1999 and 2003.

Since 2010, armed Fulani herdsmen have been slaughtering people in almost every state Nigeria, but that did not stop Nigerians electing a Fulani man called Muhammadu Buhari President in 2015 and 2019

But as 2023 approaches and the talk of Igbo Presidency comes, you will hear "the first coup was Igbo", "they fought a civil war", "IPOB and Biafra"

Nigerians and double standards are like 5 and 6

They will tell you is because of how Igbos relate to others. I wonder how bad the Igbos are relating to others yet every part of the country are selling properties, lands and businesses to them. It’s obvious all these talks that Igbos can’t rule Nigeria is just a political propaganda.

Actually, many people don't understand what governance is all about. Yes I do rant about the inadequacies in our government/leaders but sometimes I do pity them (these leaders). Do you know the threats they get from international communities who'd rather this country is impoverished and never prosperous? A good leader (working for the progress of this country) may face threats or wraths of some international leaders who are interested in the continuous exploits and impoverishment of our country.
Why am I saying this? To be honest, igbos have NO COOPERATION amongst themselves. Should an igbo man rule this country, his OWN BROTHER would be the one to hand him over to his enemies (who may not even be a Fulani, hausa or yoruba man but oyinbo which is worse and would distort progress and governance BEYOND NORMAL). Igbos are enemies of themselves. They love competition even amongst themselves. An igbo man is ready to do anything to make his brother feel like trash even to illegalities (though there are exceptions). Igbo people kill themselves (siblings) over trivials such as inheritance. They pray against each other or use juju (same blood o) over inheritance or competition. Where do you see that in a Yoruba setting or fulani setting? Not as if it doesn't happen but it's not as common as you have it in Igbo land. No! Not half as common.
As the saying goes, charity begins at home.
I pity people who shout so much about BIAFRA cos at the end, hehe they'll see themselves for who they really are. They'll bring each other down in the name of this person (their brother now o) is not fit to rule. And yes their own will be way passed that in Nigeria by far. And this would be out of envy and nothing more.
Igbos are to envious of each other. They'd be the one to bring their own presidential candidate down (out of envy).
Notwithstanding, a "good" igbo man will deliver (Especially in the area of science and technology). That I know. He would only have his people to contend with.
Igbos need to change and stop the competitiveness amongst themselves. It's even making them do unthinkable things in the name of outdoing each other.
Their competitive attitude will really distort the governance of their own brother BEYOND NORMAL.
I don talk my own.

That propaganda is mainly peddled by yoruba muslims and few fanatical northern muslims.
Good thing is abokki is waiting in the wings to hijack the presidency again when afonjas will start talking with the 2 corners of their mouths regarding zoning and we will gladly help them to it.
At worst they will all run abroad like during Abacha when hausa/Fulani starts dealing with them again.

Igbos live in every corner of the country doing their businesses quietly but I doubt if there is any local govt in Nigeria that hasn't witnessed Fulani killing, yet they voted Buhari again.
I wonder how far they think propaganda can take them.

It is just a natural hatred, other Nigerians will vote for Buhari for third term than vote for Igbo man. Even if Fulani gather all of them and burn them to death those that will survive will still vote for Fulani with their burnt body. The sin of Igbos is progressing more than them.

They will say Igbos are greedy that this, Hausa-Fulani have massacred Nigerians in thousands from Yorubaland to Benue to Kaduna to East. Yet nobody talk about it. If you mention Igbo all them will jump from comma.

Are talking about Igbo that have voted and installed Fulani as President or Prime Minister all their life or Yoruba that did the same once?

Even this Buhari/Okadigbo, you voted for. The last President before this is a Biafran with Biafran Cabinet.

Na only Biafran dey for Nigeria? What about others like Edo, Beroni, Gbayi etc.

Una nar dey shame with your obsession for POWER which we saw over and over again including recently under Ebele Azikiwe.

Of course not, Igbos are not going to do that. Yorubas and Fulani's have nothing to show for the 8 years each of them had power for Igbos to start killing people, like they did, over a worthless position

Im actually sad for whoever takes over from Buhari. That person is going to spend his 8 years paying back debt.
