Hello all IELTS hopefuls, there is someone(team) here on nairaland that tutors for FREE as their way of giving back and they have admirable success rate.
His handle is wasseynewest or so, you have to have registered for IELTS with evidence dou. You can search for him, it will save u few bucks for naija hard economy. NOTE that its FREE

P.S: I don't know him personally nor did I use him back den, but I've read positive feedback from folks he helped in part 9. You could be their success story too.
Cheers!!!

I used them last month and they really helped me ... especially in writing. I got 7 for the first time even though I've applied for EOR. You have to be dedicated though if not you'll be removed from the group

Good day great people. Pls I want to seek a clarification. Smone said WES doesn't evaluate Polytechnic certs. because aside my MSc, I also have ND in SLT and my wife has HND & PGDE. They said these, if evaluated, will also add to our score.
What do U advise? Which agency is the best for us? Thanks!

Hello guys! I sent my transcripts via etx-ng in August and after a few days, WES said they sent a verification email to my school and my school said they received no email from WES on my behalf. Recently WES sent another email to me, saying they sent an email to my school, and my school is still saying there is no email from WES. What do I do? Its beginning to trouble me o....thanks

This is my husband's exact same situation. Really confusing? So who is lying now?

Lol @ bolded.. You're no doubt in doubt because you have not gone through the famous page 1 (a.k.a La très célèbre page 1) and digest all the invaluable info it holds.
If not, you would have immediately corrected that bollocks of an information the person gave you! The same ND and HND that people are willing to do anything to have them, in order to rake in the higher points, when combined, they have to offer to one's CRS as against BSc and other single degrees below masters and PhD?

Bro or Sis, it would do you and your ambition a whole lot of good to read up all you need in this journey on page 1. By the time you're done, you'd realise that the person who gave you that info is just one of those people who would have written IELTS a few times before asking questions about what grades they require to secure an ITA. They're also those who think PNP is for everyone while assuming nomination is given by all provinces in similar fashion.

My point is, read page 1 over and over again and follow the subsequent discussions in the thread if you want to become independent, but if you want to keep coming here for questions and answers per each simple problem you encounter in this journey, then you can disregard my advice.

All the best.

NOC guru pls help.

My opinion is that JD doesn't really match 1114 below. Which of the 6 jobs under 1114 does she think goes?

https://www23.statcan.gc.ca/imdb/p3VD.pl?CLV=4&CPV=1114&CST=01012016&CVD=314247&Function=getVD&MLV=4&TVD=314243

Why is she changing her mind from 6235? Her job title doesn't matter.
The closest under the NOC 1114 to hers is the first pics that I posted which is Financial planner. Let me reattach the NOC. She is hoping she could get nominated by Ontario if it tallies as she has lost 5 points due to age this year and she is currently on 469

Please is LLB evaluated as Masters degree or Bachelor Degree?

Sorry....you attached it before, I missed it.

Ok. Understand the rationale for 1114 i.e. OINP

I don't think it will fly though but that's just my view, let's hear what others say. That part of 1114 looks like someone who actually plans and monitors clients' portfolios including setting financial goals & strategies for them.....couldn't see that from her JD. She could also show a trusted colleague the two NOCs and her JD for a different opinion.

Could she also redo IELTS to pick up extra 3 or 6 points if she is not at CLB10 already? If married, has spouse contributed 20 IELTS points and 8 first degree points?

I need the group. I am writing at the end of the month. Studying alone isn't cool.

WES evaluates LLB & BL as “two or more certificates”.

IQAS evaluates it as a Masters Degree.

IQAS, obviously.
You can't say that. Some folks don't mind to lose the 7 points to gain speed. It depends on the expected CRS score and urgency to become an applicant. It is good you make up their mind though. Good job!

If you mean speed in terms of evaluation and co I heard IQAS is faster even though they state 16-20 weeks, I’ve asked around.

It's just in recent times that they're faster. IQAS used to take a minimum of 6 months last year.

The people that operate that twitter account will not be the visa officer working on your application.
If WES does not evaluate your degree as Masters equivalent, be careful not to claim same.

It wont affecr. Wes evaluates 2 courses as One year

Betterlife2018:

Please can you help me clarify this. My sister registered for ACCA and she did not opt for any exemption. But we checked her profile now and she has AB- Accountant in Business exempted. Will this not affect her evaluation with just two courses.

Will she still qualify for one year certificate with WES evaluation. Please help. That is the whole purpose of this ACCA thing oo

Kindly help.
