All I see is SHARIA LAW in the making, soon they will soon sell Kaduna to Islam.

Don't qoute me, I know raping is bad. Why not serve them life in prison or decide certain years for them. So after the castrations you will allow him into the society again?

Cause this particular term was took from Sharia Constitution.

The danger of this law is that once the punishment is already meted out, there's no avenue of seeking remedy if new evidence later emerged that the accuser lied on oath.
This does not in any way suggests that rapists should be condoned. A more appropriate punishment like life behind bars should be more appropriate.

It is wise for us to reflect on the fact that this is Nigeria. I have reservations about the criminal justice system and our law enforcement agencies. Even in the Western world we have cases of people in prison for offences they are innocent of. In Nigeria, many are in prison for offences they know nothing about. So what happens when an innocent man is wrongly condemned and castrated. Only to discover he is innocent much later. I strongly condemn the inhumanity to man in the form of rape but this law only takes us back to the dark ages.... My opinion.

It's a very silly and stupid idea to castrate an offender be it a rapist or whatever.
You just want to release the monster in such person.
Such person will commit more and worse crimes.

Life imprisonment is even better.
