gypsey:Same two years ago, they showed me hell at the same MMH airport in lagos. I almost missed my return flight. I was stopped almost 11 times by these immigration people right from the airport entrance to the gate i needed to board from, each of them begging for money. I had to argue with the last one to please leave me alone and go ask for his share from the ones that begged right from my traumatic journey from the airport entrance..That stuff is stale and freaking annoying. |

Slawormir: See Kruger Airport in the bush and middle of nowhere in South Africa below - safari. Imagine if I started hitting you with our main airports how much devastation I will cause you. They dominate the Top 5 in all of Africa Don't cause yourself unnecessary pain by taking on SA, I don't know what lead you to even mention our name. Your PH airport is just a glorified warehouse with a dash of colour, look at the detail in SA my niggar. 2 Likes

MemoriesAndMe:you were too kind. I just ignore them ussually or i would say i am just a student i have no money, even when i say that some of them would still beg, one of them said you don't look like a student and asked are you even a nigerian? nowadays i just crack jokes with them because they know that i will not give anything. last time i was at lagos airport in february before the lock down one of them jokingly said fine boy! i for give you my daughter to marry but you no get money just ignore them they will leave you alone next time. |

Re: Pictures Of Port Harcourt International Airport by MemoriesAndMe: 9:22am On Sep 12, 2020 |
gypsey:I thought ignoring them would make them waste my time and possibly make me miss my flight. So I tend to keep like N10k purposely for them, giving them N1k at each stop until i ran out of all the naira in my pocket and the next ones were still asking for more. I remember i only had N50 left in my pocket for the last one I gave anything, I handed it to him and he was like "wetin make i use this one do?", Oya, oga abeg give me back my money and he refused. I know a rich friend here that say he purposely dresses like an hungry man with a bottle of ground nut in his hand, chewing profusely whenever he's flying back to the US from MMA, that that stops them from asking him for anything. Its only when they ask him for his passport and he tenders a US passport that they become shocked like...which kain hungry American be this one... |

post=93832366: You this low budget devil. The people you're always condemning, how are you any better than them? Like them, you also nurture SERIOUS bias about the government. When have you ever condemn the ills of this government? You spew thrash about people critiquing this government because they should remain silent and die abi? Do you know how to rid yourself of bias and face reality objectively? Has Buhari performed as expected? Has he delivered on his campaign promises? Should he be criticized if he has not? Every time you'll be talking about the previous government and how they looted the treasury dry. Why then did your sweet daddy campaign to be elected? Are you even thinking at all? The prices of goods have gone up to as much as three times they were before he came into power and you want people to keep quiet and be patient? For five solid years? Are you OK at all? What did he say about the slight increment in petrol price during Jonathan's time? Has he done better? Compared to then, has the standard of living of Nigerians fared any better? Did he protest the increase in fuel price during Jonathan's time? Why is he bundling protesters now? Shouldn't the same treatment administered to the goose be also given to the gander? If you've really passed the age of thirty and you're doing this trash, then you are a compound fool. No cap! You are full of insults and deficient in objective reasoning but you're quick to tag other people "kiddo". You better do something great with your life. Everyone knows that your daddy has failed and your very long epistles and unpleasant use of grammar cannot undo it... |

Re: Pictures Of Port Harcourt International Airport by Nobody: 9:55am On Sep 12, 2020 |
MemoriesAndMe:well.. that's fine but i don't think they would ever make you miss a flight they cannot be that cruel or desparate. As for your friend it doesn't matter how one dresses they would still find out that one can atleast afford to "dash" out 5k naira. like you said when they see another countries passport in your possession, Do you know that you can still travel back to the US with your left over nairas you use them next time depending on how often you travel, even if you don't travel to nigeria that often. you don't have to empty your wallet of all the nairas before your depature, i still have atleast 55k naira in my luggage over here, i will use them this december in nigeria. use them at the airport, to pay for food, local flight or even drinks, hotel room, recharge cards, anything. @ oga! give me my money back. seriously try and ignore them next time. 1 Like |

Meekha: All this grammar is just filled with hate and frustration. Its only Biafrans that think Buhari has failed just as I'm guessing you are one of them. is doing a honest job just as I am and that's why we are not complaining. If you were doing something honest too you shouldn't be complaining like this. Unless you're into importation which can only grow your pocket but cannot grow the country. The country does not have time for selfish and greedy entrepreneurs . 1 Like 1 Share |

Basher8583: You have not also made any objective sense. Don't tag any critique you see about this government a handiwork of Igbos. El-Rufai's son did the same thing and the person he thought was an Igbo wasn't. Same here. I am from the north... Where were you when some honest Islamic clerics called out Buhari about his incompetency and nonchalance about the state of affairs of this nation!? Are they also Igbo$? Or are you doping some substance? You are doing this country a colossal disservice if you think not critiquing the government is a patriotic move. But you're bias filled brain isn't thinking straight.. The generations unborn will curse you to your face. Keep deceiving yourself! 1 Like |

This is a legacy of Stella Oduah and Goodluck Ebere Jonathan. She is a woman of taste and class. I stayed with a friend working in her company, in the company's quarters then, between 2000 and 2003. There I came across this woman of class and her taste. Very flashy and beautiful. So I wasn't surprised when I saw what she was putting on ground in terms of Airport Infrastructures then as Aviation Minister. When they accused her of buying that Expensive Bullet proof car, I said they should accuse her of something different and not that of the car because she worth more that that. That is what we need as a country to project our image to the world. When you visit other airports in Europe, America and Asia, you find out that they are also serving as areas of tourist attraction. Before her emergence as aviation Minister, you will always be in a hurry to exit the airport before something falls from the ceiling and hit you on the head due to dilapidated structures with suspended components ready to drop. This present government should ensure that the maintenance of these structures are not compromised. If you can't initiate anything good, please try to sustain the good initiated by others. |

Basher8583: Go and tell those Islamic clerics that insulted Buhari at an Islamic function and those other angry northerners that do so in my very presence that they are not northerners. Buhari has failed and you can do nothing about it. Ciao! |

erico2k2: Foundation my foot. The woman of armored cars fame and fake American University degree did her shoddy Christmas decorations around the airports for sums of money unknown to us. The flimsy attachements she added to the airports were already falling apart even before she left office. ( noted in Enugu, Yola, Owerri, Kano and Calabar airports) . That can never be a foundation for any serious work. “Foundation “ is the word wailers use when confronted by real work , for example talk about the Lagos Ibadan Railway or Abuja Airport or Second Niger Bridge , wailers will tell you that PDP was laying foundation. ( foundation for 16 years! With nothing to show). |
