Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has taken another look at the Nigerian State and reached the scathing conclusion that the country is crumbling and drifting to a failed State under the watch of incumbent President, Mohammed Buhari.

Obasanjo’s latest assessment of the State of the Nigerian Nation was contained in a speech titled “Moving Nigeria Away From Tipping Over”, delivered at a Consultative Dialogue in Abuja on Friday.

The former President said Nigeria has never been as divided as it is now, blaming the division on “a manifestation of recent mismanagement of diversity and socio-economic development of the country”.

ObJ has been critical of Buhari’s administration especially in the run up to the General elections in 2019.

On Friday, the former President took another swipe at Buhari’s government when he said “it will amount to dangerous and destructive self-delusion for anybody to claim that all is well in Nigeria today”.

Obasanjo however explained that Nigeria can be saved from disintegration if everyone is ready to live together in understanding, mutual respect, love with equity, justice and inclusiveness.

It will never be well for that useless man, Awolowo & Azikiwe capable hands you went and rigged the 1979 elections and gave it to Shagari, 2007 did the same thing, rigged the elections, and gave it to a dying yaradua? & you have the audacity to open your basket mouth? 2.3 billion Naira oil money is missing, Obasanjo turned vocalist, yaradua turn road manager?

Not only that.., this same Obasanjo eliminated most middle belt officers in the army after Dimka coup and used that as an opportunity to to elevate mediocre fulani officers like Yardua to the rank of General at the stunning age of 24! Handed over to shagari, handed over to Yardua, supported buhari....,All fulanis.. All these as pay back to the actions of folks like Hassan katsina during the counter coup that helped save his life and kept him in the army... No army officer/politician in Nigeria worked as hard as Obasanjo to elevate fulani supremacy in Nigerias politics.., all for personal gains.

Thank God Obasanjo is still alive.

No one else would have the balls to speak to these deadly marauders without fear of consequences.

Another person who would have been doing this, is Theophilius Danjuma but that one is sometimes scared that his oil well license will not be renewed.

"Fault lines that were disappearing are coming back" all thanks to Buhari brazen nepotism and his foolish herd of zombie defenders resident on Nairaland.
