I contacted this scammer about a boerboel pup, and he said he had one for sale. I was interested in picking up the pup and asked to make a transfer to him as he wasn't in ibadan. He said he doesn't do public transport and asked I came down myself. I agreed but later changed my mind.

I later contacted him insisting that I would prefer he sent via public transport and he agreed. He sent his account details and I made the transfer twice which failed and GTBank reversed my money. Since I couldn't go to sango otta and I needed the pup the next day I got from another nairalander based in ibadan.

Only for this foolish man to start messaging me that I sent him fake alert calling me a scammer. I have been doing business with nairalander and I haven't met any of them.


This man is pained that he couldn't reap me off my money. He isn't trustworthy and nobody should transact with him.

After the two failed transactions, I relaxed and I found another seller from nairaland and I bought from the person since I was delivering the pup the next day.

Only for him to message me accusing me of being a scammer. Posting my pic. What manner of idiocy is that? From a grown man?? I'm perplexed

It’s possible to make a transfer and have it reversed after 24hrs. It’s even possible to make a transfer, be debited and the recipient doesn’t even get the funds.

This is just a case of misunderstanding and miscommunication.

Posting photos and private numbers isn’t necessary at all.

The issue of the reversed transaction is 100%possible. I can remember i made a transfer last month and I was able to generate receipt but the recipient told me he didn't get it and to my surprise It was reversed after the third day. The person was almost tagging me a scammer too. Everything is purely a misunderstanding and I understand the situation of things in the country can make one get so angry especially when you have planned to use money and the money didn't come through.
