I hope you one day study your history book...Kainji was built before democracy. ...just 8 years after independent.

....most people have taken politics like a football club by being fans of either PDP or APC.

Well, from my own understanding about Hydroelectric dam, this news is fake...because, whenever any part of the upper or lower stream of a dam collapses, there are two things to be done
1.opening all flood gates which should be followed by,
2.construction of new dam, and then diverting the water to flow into the new dam....

Niger doesn't share a border with any of the states you mentioned. You have at least 4 states separating Niger from any of the states you mentioned. Rising water bodies if any would not have as much impact as you might have in states closer to Kanji, even with topographical variations.

They increased tarrif plan without having conscience that people are still suffering. Now it is time for them to use that same task to repair it. God no dey sleep. When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.

You increase electricity tariffs when you know there is no constant power supply.

The higher the price, the higher the quantity supplied.

This is still early days. The Discos have longed been complaining that they are selling at a loss which made them not only under invest, but refused to buy enough electricity from the Gencos.

All of a sudden, power supply seemed to have increased folkowing this tariff increase. In a year's time, I won't be surprised if power supply averages 20hours minimum, with some discos providing 24 hours light nonstop in their captive market.

If there's going to be any problem, it's bound to be with Transmission as they don't have the capacity to carry all the load produced by the Gencos to the discos

They have shot it down and want to start repairing it.

As a Nigerian, I believe that in 5yrs time they will still be repairing it.
