The answer is simple....look at most of the governors Ibos and Yorubas have voteed for since 1999. Apart from Fashola,Obi, most of them have been rather mediocre

Also, look at how people discuss economics here. Usually it is all about how we should sell oil and so on and share the money, not how to develop an industrial society that would produce stuff for export.

The problem with Nigeria is that Nigerians want an economy where they share the money equally. How they make the money is of no concern.
