Yh... you might need to upgrade your ram to 8gb or above.

Yes boss!!!
You got quite a rig there. wink
Re: Flightsim Aviation Nigeria by Mowarin001: 7:11pm On Sep 17, 2020
@TrollKiller
But you'll need to double your specs if you wanted to run MSFS2020.

Even with my i5 4200U and 8gb RAM, I need to turn all sliders to medium to keep my X-Plane 11 frame rate in the 20s.

So I won't even try MSFS2020 sad

Kala04:

I use all default aircraft... smiley
I'm more of a Boeing boy wink If you notice on my YouTube channel.
I mostly fly the Boeing 747-400 and -8, Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner and I rarely fly the Airbus A380-800.
I use the Boeing 737-800 for shorter routes.
sad Still trying to get the Boeing 737-900ER tho.

Please can I get the dream liner

Re: Flightsim Aviation Nigeria by Kala04(m): 10:23pm On Sep 17, 2020
And also the a380

I've sent the link for the dreamliner I use. But I must warn tho, the old school FMC on this aircraft is dog shit and has very limited functions, since it's X-Plane 10 compatible. If you don't intend to use this for long haul flying, then you're good. wink But if you want to use it for long haul commercial flying in X-Plane 11 like I do smiley, then a lot of work has to be done on the aircraft in X-Plane 11 plane maker.

The Airbus A380 is also another horror show, and kills my frame rate. smiley Looks good inside and outside, but with a crappy FMC. However, I can still do commercial long haul flying with it (e.g taking off from Sydney, Australia and successfully landing in Abu Dhabi, UAE) a 14 hour flight because I'm able to load flight plans directly from simbrief.
Re: Flightsim Aviation Nigeria by Kala04(m): 8:09am On Sep 18, 2020
I am even trying to learn how to use the plane maker
Re: Flightsim Aviation Nigeria by Kala04(m): 8:11am On Sep 18, 2020
I would have to change the FMC then

There are some of YouTube tutorials out there that can help. smiley But I had to work out a lot of these things myself. sad It just took some time. But 6 weeks in quarantine gave me all the time I needed. smiley

Hi guys!!
I've been very busy lately studying for my PPL (Private Pilot License) exam soon, so I have a lot of screenshots to share.

As I aspire to become a 777 Captain, I was encouraged by my instructor to buy the PMDG Boeing 777, so I did and I did a quick flight in the colors of Air Peace, from Innsbruck, Austria to London-Heathrow with my old, trusty sim, FSX.

Pic 2: Shortly after reaching Cruise Altitude

Pics 3 and 4: Me admiring the stunning cockpit

Re: Flightsim Aviation Nigeria by folarr(m): 4:02am On Sep 20, 2020
Pic 5: cdu and FMC showing me starting my descent into England.

After this, I was too occupied with the landing and ATC to take anymore pictures(I was flying on VATSIM), So here are some bonus pics:

Bonus Pic 1: Here's an Iberia Boeing 737 MAX-8 on ground at Lisbon
Bonus Pic 2: Here's a Lufthansa Airbus A320neo on my new sim MSFS2020, dodgy repaint by me, notice the Lufthansa logo on the tail

Welcome back @folarr

Beautiful screenshots as usual. I also aspire to be a pilot soon. Must fly a 747 before I die wink.
But I'm still in the university studying microbiology for now. So I'm nowhere near there. cry

What flightschool do you attend? smiley

I'm still in University of Benin.
smiley I'd like to get a master's degree in microbiology before I can think of pilot training.
