See more intense training in South Korea, Serbia, and USA

To be more correct, those last two pics are NAVY SEAL applicants and these are special forces candidates. Such training aren't for regular soldiers.

Please let's be sure of the veracity of our claims before posting to avoid spreading misinformation.

Thanks

I really want to clarify some things that keeps me worried, please help:

1. Since we'll be writing exams first before the usual screenings for both commissions this year, unlike previous years. Are we all gonna be invited for the exam or the whole long leg/godfather thing starts now to even be shortlisted/invited for the exams?

2. Please, should I worry about signing the whole document and referees before coming for the exams or it's just the photo card (the very first page) that will be required of us for the exam. Any valuable insights would be appreciated.

It's his choice. I don't think you have the right to stop him. You can only advice him to think thoroughly.

However, if he's a graduate, RRI is not ideal for him. They require just WAEC with 4 credit. It's a non-commissioned role in the military but one can rise through the ranks to Chief warrant officer or get an EC(Executive Commission) after some exceptional years of service.

Nothing to fear. By Gods grace, you will overcome the odds.

And your efforts will be crowned with a star on either sides of your collar at the end of the day

exactly my thought, sadly he missed this year's application... serving one's motherland is great, I'm just not down with taking newly recruited officers and soldiers to the heart of the war.

but you know this before going for DSSC na? just hope for the best sha, nobody knows how is gonna be this time around, that's why it's safer going for SSC if one only have a degree/HND and is within the age bracket, atleast you will have something less to worry about. Some people are even qualified for DSSC but they deliberately went for SSC, they know what they're doing, na to avoid stories that touch.

Age bro

It's now atleast four ordinary passes (D7), age was increased to 35yrs for tradesmen, this is rather strange but it tells one something that they really need people enmass, they even made it clear that nothing like CBT exams just screening of documents and all successful candidates will be heading to depot after which everyone will be sent for Special forces training.
Anyone joining should settle down and think it through properly.

1) No. Only people that met their criteria and filled the form correctly will be invited. Notwithstanding, people have already started making moves. So if you have anyone that may help you it's wise you let them know from now.
2) Photocard alone is the only pass to sit for the exam.

While in the bathroom, I received an inspiration. i was thinking about all the missed opportunities and the years spent so far in search of my dream job. i had just gotten information that a close pal had just resumed DSS training, the same guy we attended the 2018 DSS exams. i was beginning to think like I had been forgotten by powers that be, then a thought poped in; what if I fall dead in the bathroom at that moment, what would matter to me most?
Then i realised, what will matter is whether i make heaven or hell. I also realised how God has favoured me over my contemporaries and kept me alive.
Officers, the list will come out just like it has in the past but no matter where you fall, please endeavour to glorify God for he is the best of planners.
Pray and press buttons if you can but accept whatever the outcome is in good faith.
Thanks to those colleagues who have lent me a helping hand am most grateful.
Wishing us all the very best.
Victory is From God Alone.
