Yea, i think you can still use your brother in law. You can state she has something tying her here: career or business.

You realise that your pof will still be for 3?

She should use her maiden name. When she submits to IRCC, her marriage certificate and change of name will support that.

My advise: why not just get another one when you get ITA? See below from ACRO and IRCC

She doesn't need to get another one. So long as she got it after she left the country, it's still valid, even if the PCC has an expiry date, as stated on the IRCC website

For those of us planning to write CIIN exam in November, The exam timetable is out and the registration starts tomorrow. Three courses for the certificate stage at 7500 each for every member.
Don't forget to read wella especially for those of us with no background in Insurance, I'm planning to use a tutor plus read because I gats pass am

You can call the Institute tomorrow morning 0817 204 0922. Please note you’re paying for other fees asides exam. I was told once the web portal is opened tomorrow the amount you are to pay will be indicated there.

I’m using IQAS for mine though and there’s a space for that and I used WES for spouse I’m unsure but I think there’s a space for that of which there ought to be because people change names or maybe you contact them directly.

Seriously? Wow, I'm just finding out now. Na wa o. Is it still safe to change to single at this point?

So I just found out. It is well. Considering just updating profile to single and have her brother invite her later as a relative.

They do rigorous background check according to my research so abeg no even try to change to single or lie. Biko

Unfortunately you cannot claim single while married. It’ll be seen as misrepresentation which can result in a 5year ban

My advice: Consider changing to accompanying spouse, find a way to get the money even if you have to ask family members to chip in. Let it come through any of your parents or parent in-laws, get a gift deed, apply .

Also your brother inlaw can give you extra 15points If he already had PR so take advantage of that.

Things will get better, be hopeful.

For the sender of the money: No

For you: bank letters and statement showing the money, not necessarily 6months unless you have cash flow over that time that you need to show as evidence of part of your POF.

Let her use the same names as her credentials. When it's time to submit application, she can add marriage certificate as evidence of marriage. That would be explanation enough for the name change discrepancy.

2: Do you mean gaining siblings point from your brother in law and your wife isn’t accompanying. I’m not sure you can gain the 15points except your wife is accompanying. NB: ‘I’m not sure’
