Please, remove University of Ibadan from your list. If you fail to make first class in Unibadan, trust me, it's impossible to make it from any other Nigerian Universities.
Please, don't get me wrong. I don't mean that UI's exam questions are cheap, or that their first class is sub-stanard. My point is, that University of Ibadan has put everything in place, all you need to excel academically.
It's only in Unibadan where you see lecturers who believe in merit (write well in your exams and you will never be disappointed with the accompanying grades).
Unibadan is not where you see useless sadists who only come to class to boast mischievously how A is for their ancestors, B for their communities' rulers, C for themselves and their wives.
Unibadan is not where you see a group of students tormenting the hell out of a student, all in the name of cultism.
You have fatherly and motherly lecturers, structures and a conducive environment to do well in your studies in Unibadan.
I remember one year like that only law faculty of the school produced 21 first class graduates. I know some universities that would have made sure the number is reduced to only one or even zero just to etch into people's subconsciousness the notion: in this faculty first class no be beans. Lols.

I think UNN, OAU, ABU and UNN should have featured in your list. These schools are notorious for sadist lecturers who are obviously frustrated with everything_ everything absolutely.

The government needs to shut down the schools, if lecturers are not capable of producing first-class students, the problem is with the schools and not the students.

University of ibadan uses 7 point cgpa scale meaning first class is 85% (6.0/7.0) other universities use 5 cgpa scale meaning 90% (4.5) is first class, in conclusion; a 4.25 cgpa in other schools is equivalent to first class in UI. I don't know why other schools no wan use 7.0, UI students get numerous first class cuz it's 85% not 90%. So comot UI from this list.

This is eye opening!

THIS IS TO ALL UI STUDENTS AND GRADUATES READING THIS!

Your 2nd class is not equal to or greater than other schools first class.
Saying this is evident that you didn't pass through a university.

Is a matter of what works for you. In united States they use 4.0 This doesn't mean anything.

UI isn't using 7 point CGPA scale again. It stop using it by the 2016/2017 session.
It is using 4 point scale CGPA now

The truth is many schools did not provide enabling environment to excel. Like UNILORIN for instance, some department are bad but some give students every opportunity to make it.

I enjoy this argument from my corner.
Keep it up, just know at least 5years after you have left all those universities, whether you leave with economy class or business class, within 5years you will struggle to remember your matric number after Nigeria starts dealing with you directly.

Lmaoo. Did you find out the score range? You ought to know that wether 7.0cgpa or 4 would scale up to same thing. Besides, Ui has since jettisoned the 7.0 grading system.
