Hi....I faxed my LOG to wes last week Friday and my status was in progress till yesterday.

I checked my profile this morning and WES did not state it clearly whether the LOG was accepted or rejected. The option for CIMA CERTIFICATE is not there anymore.

Please what does that connotes?

That's what happened to me.
Though i feel it's because of the pandemic. Usually, your certificate should be out within 6 weeks of completing your last paper.
The letter of good standing was adopted by WES in place of a certificate.

Hello house, please is Wes now using the letter of good standing in place of the certificate? Has anyone gotten a successful evaluation doing this? Please your feedback will be highly appreciated as I just wrote my last paper 2 weeks ago and I will like to know the next steps to take.

So I finally had my WES report today and it was exactly as hoped for: Completion of a college-level certificate (one year) and bachelor's degree (four years)

CIMA only sent the transcripts and Letter of good standing as I explained in my previous updates.

CIMA is changing the requirements for exemptions especially for ICAN alumni. Please apply for exemption before 29 September 2020.

They sent me an email because I contacted them about my exemptions and why it was taking so long. The redirected me to the right person and also informed me to ensure I complete it quickly as it may change when they update exemptions due to the syllabus changing.

The exam is a 4 paper exam, Materials available on astranti.com. Exams are CBT; visit cimaglobal.com to register. Registration is 77GBP while each paper is 77GBP

Recommended procedure:
1. Register with cima on https://www.cimaglobal.com/Starting-CIMA/Starting-CIMA/Registration/ fee is 77£. Please pay online, if you pay to the Nigerian office, your registration will take weeks.

2. Send your credentials to CIMA. you'll get the email to send it after registration

3. Study for your exams with Astranti.com and Opentuition.com

4. Exam registration is 55£ per paper.. Exam is electronic, you choose a convenient time, date and center ( any pearsonVUE center).,The various centres and their addresses will appear during registration, so you can choose a center near you. DO NOT PAY ANY MONEY TO THE TEST CENTER.. You're to book for your exam atleast two days to the exam day.

5. You will get a provisional result after each exam, then details will be uploaded to your account after like 2 days.. pass mark is 100/150. There are 60 questions for 2hrs for BA1-3.. then 85 questions for BA4, 2 hrs

6. You're to write BA1 to BA4 in order to get the certificate in Business accounting which you'll evaluate with wes.

7. On how long it will take, depends on you.. you can check the syllabus and study materials to know how long it can take you to cover it.. However, it took me about 6 - 7 weeks

8. When you're done with your 4 exams, you'll wait for like two days for it to be updated...Then you can register with WES

9. Once you have gotten your WES reference No, send an email to cima to prepare your transcripts and letter of good standing.. Also tell them you want to arrange for a courier service.. This is to expedite the process because cima uses regular post which takes weeks to get to Canada.. Follow up with a call to CIMA.. I requested for mine and it was ready for pick up the following day.. Remember to put your WES reference no while booking the courier.. I paid about 65£ for the courier and it got to WES in 3days...

Please I’m a bit confused about the subscription for CIMA. On their website, they say subscription runs from Jan 1st to Dec 31st. Does this mean if I pay the £77 for registration (which includes a free subscription for first timers) now, I’ll have to resubscribe next year Jan 1st again, this time actually having to pay a sum for subscription?

I registered on 28th August and I am yet to receive any email from CIMA to forward my credentials. How do I go about this please?

As usual, I filled United kingdom on WES as country of Education. On my application on express entry profile, I filled Nigeria as country of Study coz I studied in Nigeria.

Now I want to fill my details on IRCC website (pre ITA), for country of Study but there is no United Kingdom under the drop-down list of countries.

Please what other country should I select, considering I chose UK for WES. Thank you

Hello everyone. Please has anyone recently received his/her certificate from CIMA since they opened their offices?

I don't think so. For me I completed my papers since February but yet to receive the certificate.
Two weeks ago I got a letter of good standing from them but not the certificate

Wow. Since February. This means it might really take up to 12 weeks from when they opened their offices.

I didn't send anything to wes for my evaluation. cima sent all the required documents. I collected the letter of good standing for other purposes.

They have not yet opened their office in London.

Sat for the final last year November. Began processing the certificate April this year by filling the membership application form alongside other required documents.
And of course you pay the membership fee of £165 thereabouts.

Student registration fee £77×465 (abokifx) = #
35,805
Each module is £77 and there are 4 Modules...4×£77 =£308 × 465 (abokifx) = #143,220

Total in Naira..... Student registration fee 35,805 × 143,220 = 179,025.

Above calculation is based on today's exchange rate and it's cost for the EXAMINATION......delivery to WES is not included.

Obtaining CIMA certificate is not CHEAP oh. All the best to everyone in waiting.
