The outcome of Edo election has no bearing on Ondo election. When APC lost Ekiti in 2014 to Fayose, the party restrategized and won Osun a month later despite the heavy handedness of Jonathan in that election.

APC's major problem in Ondo is the internal wraggling within the party. As things stands now, they have been able to achieve about 90% reconciliation. The outcome of Edo will even push them to unite and for more for the party. The fact that the current deouty governor is contesting is also a plus to APC. Those opposed to the governor's re-election will share their votes between Jedege and Agboola. I can't see a path to victory for PDP in Ondo election.

Agboola just helped aketi to get reelected. If he had stay put in pdp with jegede, aketi for see oba

Omo those people you are mentioning are not innocent O, if you like your life don't dare mention ambodes name in oshodi. His own was even worse and stupid if to say he was smart and not as greedy as he was he would have gone far....but I guess it's only when you give power to people you find out who they really are......don't get it twisted Tinubu had nothing to do with his removal we the people of Lagos rejected him ourself and gave baba a choice give this man the boot or we hand Lagos to pdp.....ambode seized complete control of Lagos from the offices at the Top to the ticket collectors on the street eating from every cake in the state forgetting it was only for 4 years, when elections were about to hold he now started moving with killers and thugs thinking they would be enough or successful.

Na lie grin...Godfatherism no fit end. Gov Obaseki himself is automatically a Godfather ,especially now that he's won an election.
And so the circle continues.....the unfortunate thing is the Devil you know Isomeone better than the angel you dont.....but Edo has chosen. smiley

This is a character of a true leader; gracious in defeat as much as in victories, a man who provides to his team succour in the midst of a defeat. Unlike a certain Okorocha who's whining like a he-goat.

kiss the truth!
Okorocha actually had some good points in his statements.....a party where it's members would not support and Lynch each other doesn't bode well nor give a good look.....but I guess that what you get when half of Apc were pdp before....
Same thing they were doing over there is what they want to start now.

Tinubu Jagaban, you should also give them one time to celebrate after their numerous defeat.

Saraki -gone
Fayose - gone
Dino Melaye- gone
Atiku - demolished
and etc.

Naturally politics is about win and losses but like you said, for them to have celebrated this one victory they have after their numerous losses showed that you are close to being a god.

Asiwaju Jagaban!
They are celebrating like this because he was the major political figure who went to campaign and they know osho is his man....plus if they can snatch the state it may dampen his yet unannounced 2023 plan....but it is well.

One thing I like Tinubu for is that he is calculative and can sacrifice his ambition for his comrades if he sees that he does not stand a bigger chance.

Even if he won’t contest in 2023, there is someone that passed all integrity test that the PDP propaganda cannot be pinned upon and I’m sure APC should continue to make sure Tinubu is the one taking the barrage of insults/propaganda to shield the main man.

Time will tell!

I understand clearly now...almost everyone seem to put the blame solely on Tinubu. Although , he gave an explanation but the explanation didn't hold water.
Thanks for the clarity

From the the go, ambode disenfranchised lawma and psp, remember visionscape.....from there let's move to other third party state agencies like Lasaa....he went in there and trippled the rates they charged, then brought in foreign companies who were like jc.decaux who are sharks against the small fish companies we have in Lagos..even big fishes like e-motion were shook....then let's move to the streets that three terminal bus park he built in Oshodi, and many other parks around despite fashOla telling him to run the project through the federal government that they will pay he decided to run on state bill, that Oshodi project was to disenfranchise MC Oluomo and his hold on Oshodi because they were never consulted nor part of the end plan....he was planning to revamp the whole transport system in Lagos without them in it......then he went ahead and bought foreign buses sidelining Lagos state agreement with car makers VON who have had agreements with Lagos while he was still in secondary school.....then let's move to tax....the first man he put in charge of lirs stole 1.5billion within a space of six months of getting there, even contracts meant for people like pwc he chop am quick....the scandal was so bad even he blushed a little......after that he quickly setup his own version of alphabeta and started moving Lagos tax through it......now let's move to the markets.....let's start at berger.....the shops there were quickly seized with the saying that they want to revamp, then it changed to we want to change it to bus park.....I had two shops there till today I'm yet to be compensated.....he quickly took a huge part of it and put it under his wifes name to open a food canteen so that people who use the park will be eating there.....I know these things cause I'm close to a lot of Ikorodu boys.....Ikorodu boys run the state, they are the real engine of Lagos.....there's no office you go to in the Secretariat or shop you go to in Lagos you don't find anyone with links to Ikorodu or their people......as for Fayemi that one's case is just the same but he feels the north will protect him in the coming years, even if he gets a second term I assure he ride to political oblivion has started.

ASIWAJU BOLA AHMED TINUBU SPEAKS ON EDO JUST CONCLUDED POLL!!!

"We should enjoy and take pleasure from our defeats as much as we take from our victories.

The extent and length they go to see us down shows how great we are.

Our defeats should be a lesson that we are not gods, that we are but men.

That we are mortals who suffer from set backs, betrayals... But if our fellow men see us as gods and celebrate our defeats like they've defeated gods, then surely we must be close to being gods.

They seek schadenfreude at our shrine but we only have to give, exactly what they hate us for.

-Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

I saw this in a particular political platform. Not sure if itz a new write-up or before now... Just think I should paste this here:

Babajide Kolade-Otitoju writes:

On this Jagaban issue, every 4 years people come on social media to yell and castigate the man over his political decisions. There are over 18m people in Lagos, over 1000 politicians yet they cannot unseat him. Is this his fault? Are you expecting him to raise his legs and say "hi guys come and screw me over".

He left the AD, formed the AC then ACN, Afenifere, Obasanjo could not unseat him. He lost two deputy governors, Kofo Bucknor and Femi Pedro to the opposition party, Lost Obanikoro, a man he single handedly made a senator to PDP, he lost Jimi Agbaje a close ally also to the PDP. They tried to unseat him, they failed. Obasanjo and GEJ tried, they didn't succeed. Lagos state had the Minister for works, Ogunlewe, PDP BOT chairman - Bode George, Minister for Defence - Obanikoro, Olusegun Aganga - Trade and Investment but while these notable men go to bed at night, Jagaban stays awake scheming and planning his next move at Bourdillon, rallying the grassroot and then he comes with either the stick or the carrot. Obanikoro his sworn enemy is back, Pedro is back, Salvador former PDP chairman is back to his camp.

He did not put a gun to anybody's head to wine and dine with him. Why can't they form an alliance to finish him off? We have a choice not to associate with him don't we ?

He has successfully built a battalion of loyalists from 1999 till date. From Fashola to the councilor in the smallest ward in Lagos. Fashola, Osinbajo, Fowler, Lai Mohammed, Ben Akabueze, Ojudu, Ade Ipaye, Rauf, Hamzat, GOS, Gbajabiamila, Faleke, Yayi, Ashafa, Opeifa, Tunji Bello, Leke pitan, Jide Idris, Dele Alake, Mamora and a whole lot of other young brilliant minds. For every one person he empowered, he got thousands more in return. He identifies the best and use them to his advantage.

Can Bode George or Ogunlewe roll out a list comparable to Tinubu's list? Why haven't they been able to create a formidable opposition to kick him out? They had the federal might for 16 years to their advantage.

To be honest, is he at fault? What do we expect him to do? Crawl under his duvet at Bourdillon or watch African Magic? Why can't other politicians form a concesus?

He is the Lion of Bourdillon and when he roars, his lionesses and cubs will respond. Unless a stronger pride emerges, he will continue to rule this jungle. It is the law of nature, sentiments dont matter. He is already scheming for 2023, 4 years ahead of these docile politicians.

Meanwhile there is still room to challenge him, please go ahead and vote against his candidate if you feel aggrieved.
