My 2az has 335K miles on it and still steaming very well. It depends on how we maintain our car. The oil burn is not too much as people do talk down on it.

Why not look at an Acura MDX?

I don't know what CVT was installed but

honda CVT pass mark

mitsubishi CVT pass mark

Nissan CVT japa/Run

Toyota CVT unknown.

but the Corolla verso won best mpv during it's time for the targeted market so I did say buy it

The Grill and Tale lights of the 2003/04 and 2005/06 are different. Also middle headrest for the back seat in the 05/06. All of them are reliable once you take care of them but the 2005/06 is more fuel efficient.

The 2.4 engine is more fuel efficient and popular than the 3.0. The 3.0 is stronger and nice to drive but you will need good technician to handle it.
